batey, the very same confusion was posted on another coupon blog I just replied to, she too believed and told others you had to buy all 5 to get the sale price.

The wording is confusing, but each item rings up at the $1 price, the only problem is understanding that with card specific e-vic specials, they don't track those on your card, so it's a 'one bite at the special price apple' - get them all at once at that price, or you lose the option to get more later in the week :)

    It is confusing though.

Thanks for clarifying, Nancy and Oxy... I came back to check and see if I was wrong and sure enough... LOL. I had no idea I could use more than 3 identical $1+ coupons!!! Grrrr! I had one more of those coupons that I could have used! Jeez, just when you think you have it all figured out... That's ok... This particular lesson only cost me $1. They need to make the fine print more clear.. I understood "Limit 5" to mean you couldn't get 10 and "All 5 items must be purchased in the same transaction to receive the special eVic price" to mean you could NOT just get 1-4. Well, this is why I'm a part of this group.... to get all the help I can get! Hope my error has helped enlightened others who may have been confused....

I was checking out today and my usual cashier...best in the world...reminded me about the Gatorade deal (maybe he remembered me buying it before?). I went back down the aisle to get it and there was another customer there who directed me to the back of the store for it because the 8-packs back there had $1 off coupons on them! So I got them for $3 each instead of $4, and they are regularly $7. Gotta love team work...people helping each other to save, save, SAVE. I spent $134 but saved $145.

Not sure if any of you shop at Walmart for your groceries, but if you print off you email from harris teeter showing their saturday sales, then they will give you the same price as HT. I knew they did this if you brought in the actual sales ads, but last week when HT had their capri sun juices and chips ahoy cookies for .99, I took my email into walmart and they changed the prices for me when I checked out. I have no choice but to shop pretty much at FL and Walmart for my groceries b/c the town I live in is small and thats pretty much all your options. Now that I know they will take the emails, I will be printing them alot more often from lowes and HT so I can have it with me when I go to walmart.

I don't show anything on my receipt about the $1 off milk. Does it print as an OYNO coupon or do you have to purchase milk at the same time?

Is the gatorade e-vic a personal special? I didn't get this on my receipt either.

I have learned to walk the store when I go to HT. Many times sales are located on endcaps or special displays. The mac n cheese peelies that "Melodie" mentioned were not on the shelf. All the items that had peelies on them were relocated to a special display in a totally separate part of the store.

batey, they only DOUBLE up to 3 identical coupons, but they will TAKE them all after that at face value. If you had $1 off 1 coupons, it wouldn't matter anyway because $1 coupons don't normally double. FYI.

batey3 - actually, you're allowed to get UP to 5 for that price, not necessary to buy all 5. However, if you wanted 5 they must be purchased in a single transaction. But 40 cents each is a good deal too!

Just to clarify... You have to buy all 5 KC bbq sauces to get them for $1 ea. It's in the fine print. I still got them and used the $1/1 coupons on 3 of them as my local HT only allows 3 identical coupons. Ended up being .40 each... still a good deal.

That sounds like a good deal to me Melodie. I will have to go check that out. :-)

This may not be cheap enough for you all, but I was in Harris Teeter and they have the Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese on sale 4/$7, which makes them $1.75 a piece. On the bags are $0.55 off coupons, so after they double you can get a bag for $0.65 a piece.
