Food Lion deals 6/1

Posted June 1, 2011

This week at Food Lion you will find good deals on green peppers, cantaloupe, gala apples, Ronzoni pasta, Pepsi, chicken and shrimp.  These deals are good from 6/1 to 6/7/11.

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load RedPlum.com manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. Their policy is one coupon per product. No e-coupons will double.

You said FL does not have a coupon limit, but they do. Their website/coupon policy says "Customers may not use more than (1)one coupon per item with a maximum of (10) ten coupons for the same item per customer."

My FL has Orida Potatoes and Fries for Buy 2, Get 1 Free. There was a coupon for $1 off Orida Sweet Potato fries a couple of weeks ago. I got 2 bags of sweet potato fries and 1 bag of crinkle fries for $4 after 2 coupons. Not too bad. Also the Borden's Premium Singles are on sale for $1.66 each, use the $1/1 coupon from a couple of weeks ago to get them for .66 cents a package. Yay for cheap cheese slices!
