Has anyone purchased the Texas Pete hot sauce that's on sale? If so, did the coupon double? It states DND on it, but it starts with a 5.

"Rachel, the comp coupons they are referring to are coupons for $ off yoru total order (like the Food Lion coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase). I don't know of any stores who take comp coupons for a specific product (like a Catalina register coupon for $1 off Krft cheese, for instance)."

Wal-Mart accepts Catalinas for competitor money off a specific product, it's in their updated policy:

    http://walmartstores.com/Search/?q=coupon+policy&t=a&p=1&s=r&fd=a&fa=p

Scroll down the page to find the actual link. I suggest keeping a copy of their policy with you at all times, the employee turnover rate is high...

    sweet!! thanks nancy!

Whenever I use any of the Lowes Foods 3-week coupons from their ad inserts (none currently available that I'm aware of), the correct savings amount is deducted, but the item names listed on the receipt do NOT match. What's up with that? Makes it a bit trickier to check the receipt for accuracy when it is showing discounts for items that you know you did not purchase.

queene, they will give you a raincheck for the B1G2 if they are out. If it's in their ad, they raincheck it :)

  • queene01 May 25, 2011

if they are out of the burgers.... do they give you a rain check for the buy one get 2 free? or will they only give you a rain check if something is a definite price for say a bottle of dressing, instead of the buy 1 get 2 free?

I went to Lowes for the cheese deal and found that they had only 2 types of the Touch of Philly Cheese. Still a very good deal, but I would have liked more choices.

kcampbell - no, Lowe's does not allow stacking of digital and MQ.

    Here is what it states:

Void if altered, copied, sold, or transferred or where prohibited or restricted by law. One coupon per purchase of specified product(s). May not be combined with other offers. Consumer pays any sales tax. NOT SUBJECT TO DOUBLING.
Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.

The only digital coupons I load for Lowes and Kroger are those higher than the value they will double, since those do not double anyway and it saves my better coupons to use at HT where they will not only double the coupon but if there is a digital, it applies on top of the doubled/tripled MQ.
