I had the same experience in the CVS I went into today (Dial soap & Hidden valley ranch-- 2.07 after coupons & ECB) - I told him I wanted to do 2 separate transactions and he said "Two separate transactions" I said "yep- gotta save money!!" He was joking and all but said something about that's not stimulating the economy, I said yea but it's stimulating my pay check- giving myself a raise. When he told me my 2nd transaction was 4 cents- I said "See wasn't that fun!?!" - He was real nice about it- but since I saw this post earlier, I made sure I would have a good come back! Glad I did!! I also let him know I was stimulating CVS's business by coming in there every week.

Jenna - Try not to take it personally. Clearly she is not a couponer, which means (bless her heart) that she is probably paying WAAAAY too much for everything. Someday I hope she sees the light and understands that folks who coupon to live within their means have the right idea.

In the meantime, I suggest you call that store, speak with the manager and let him/her know how rudely you were treated and that the employee needs some customer service re-training.

Ms. Faye - I went to the CVS off of Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary and the lady was huffy puffy over me using the $3 off $10 healthcare coupon for the Neutrogena sunscreen. She asked someone else who of course approved it. Thank you for posting the great deal. BTW - I had forgotten something and while I was retrieving the item - the same lady was complaining saying "those coupon people drive me crazy" and some other mean comments about myself...oh well! I saved money and that is all that matters!

FYI - At the kiosk today, I got a coupon for $3 off a $10 healthcare purchase. It worked for the Neutrogena sunscreen deal making it a great deal!

    4 oz Sunscreen: $9.99
$10 ECB when you buy 2
Used 2 of the $4 printables and the $3 off $10 kiosk coupon
Total for 2 bottles after sale, $10 ECB, $3 kiosk coupon and 2 of the $2 coupons = $1.50 each!

AND last week I got a register coupon for $3 off ANY pain reducer so I bought the CVS brand advil for $2.87 and it was free!

Brassy - are you saying that they do not carry those products in that store, that they are out of stock or that they would not honor the deals that were in the ad?

I scored some great deals on the Scott towels, Lady Speed Stick and Neutrogena today - all free with combo of coupons, ECB's from last weeks deals and a gift card from transferring a prescription.

Another good buy is the CVS spray suncreen in the 20% more 10 oz bottle. It's on sale for $6, which is a good price for 10 oz spray sunscreen.

CVS in Wake Forest does not have the soap, toothpaste or polident deals.
