Disappointed that I couldn't buy one Smartmilk at 1/2 off. Oh well...

  • tmsellers25 May 14, 2011

mwpait....I had the same thing happen. I had BOGO Smart Blanace milk and Bunburst detergent. Bought one each thinking they would ring 1/2 price. They didn't. The manager did let me go get 1 of each item. He said that that was unusual for the deal to require you to purchase 2. I will be reading the fine print a little more carefully next time.

I also scored on the Lunchables with fruit. They were on sale for 2/$5. I had a BOGO evic q, $1/2 mq. Then alot of the package had a yellow sticker on them marked down to $2 (or so I thought) I bought one of these but it was a $2 off coupon those package were marked nc the expired 5/21. So my lunchables gave me a overage of $1.49 which paid for my 2 salade dressings and cereal.

    I Love HT!!!

knowles, their policy is really easy to understand, under the FAQ on the ZVR coupons, it specifically addresses using MQ coupon with the ZVR coupons and says it's ok :)

Love HT and their coupon policies are very clear and easy to understand, one of the very few :)

Yes, manuf coupon w/ evic coupon is ok, confirmd w/ manager last nite! Love ht!

  • Oxymoron02 May 13, 2011

knowles, HT's coupon policy EXPLICITLY states that you can use a paper coupon and an ecoupon at the same time.

That's why we love HT, or at least one of many reasons.

If you have e-coupons loaded to your VIC card, can you also use a manufacturer's coupon on the same item? Ex. I have a $2 paper coupon and $1 e-coupon; if I scan my card and it takes the $1 coupon, am I losing a dollar by not being able to use my paper coupon, or will it take $3 off the item? I'm still new to couponing, but I'm trying to learn all I can!

Don't know if everyone realizes this or not, but BOGO on e-Vic deals doesn't cut the price in half...you have to get both. I bought just 1 carton of Smart Balance milk expecting the price to drop by half...and had one of the 1.50 q's...when it didn't, I asked about it at the service desk and they told me on e-Vic deals the price doesn't go to half-off for one...oh well, they were very nice and told me I could go get the other carton I would have originally gotten had I realized...
