The Carmike bucket is a super deal! You can even use it at the Blue Ridge $1.50 theater. We bought reusable popcorn "cups" from the $1.00 section at Target and bring them along when we go see a movie. The bucket is big enough for our family of 6.

If you like movies but hate dropping $6 on popcorn, Carmike sells a bucket. I think it's $15, and they fill it when you buy it. Then you can bring it back with you every time you go to a Carmike, and they'll fill it up for, IIRC, $2.50.

I did the math last I went to the movies, and if we used it 4 more times after we bought it in place of buying a large popcorn (I think it's bigger than a large), we would save money. Less than 4 fill-ups and it's cheaper to just buy the large popcorn.

The bucket is good through the end of the year.
