Faye - Looking at the ad, I believe the ground turkey is actually 2.47 for 19.2oz instead of per pound. That makes it closer to $2/lb.

Post #3. The manager stated that they were a "value Kroger", I disagree-they are not a "Kroger" and the name should be changed or the policy needs to change. I went to the Kroger on Strickland and Falls of Neuse, stopped at the customer service desk to review the coupon policy (lesson learned), quickly grabbed the same 20 items, went to the check out, informed the cashier that I had 2 transactions and checked out. The first transaction, all three catalina coupons printed (lunchables, Splenda and Freshetta pizza) and the 2nd transaction the 2nd Catalina for the Splenda printed out. So I was able to get the Mega Deal twice, use 20 coupons and get back over $12 in Catalina dollars to use on my future purchase! Well I was so disappointed with this entire experience mainly because-for the exact same products I will spend less AND get bonus catalina dollars back for my future purchases-but in a different community I will pay more, a community that would benefit from the use of coupons!

Post #2. So I'm in shock because I really can't do the Mega Deal so I decided to just purchase 2 of the Splenda products and at least get $2 or $3 dollars back in Catalina coupons. (The Catalina deal is buy 3 items get $4 back and I had 6 - $3 coupons to use). So I politely asked the cashier to void the entire transaction and to only ring up 2 Splenda products which she did, I didn't get the Mega deal discount but I used 2 of my $3 off coupons. We finished the transaction and no Catalina printed! When I asked, the cashier didn't know what I was talking about so she called over the manager again because I told her this time I just want a refund and I would like my coupons back! So I went to customer service with the manager who processed my refund and returned my coupons. She informed me that this store did not have any catalina machines at all and that I could go to any other Kroger (up New Bern Ave or North Raleigh) to use all of my coupons! Ok - one more post...

Post #1: I stopped at the Kroger on MLK and Raleigh Blvd to grab 20 items that were a part of the Mega deal last week, but was motivated to use my Splenda coupons because they were expiring that day AND there was a catalina deal running with Splenda. This is not my regular Kroger, but I was in the area. I carefully picked my items and made sure they were on the Mega Deal list and I had coupons to match them all. When I went to the register I informed the cashier I would be doing 2 transactions. After ringing up my first 10 items I gave her my 10 coupons and she told me that I could only use 2 coupons. I asked if she meant 2 like items and she stated "NO" only 2 coupons Per Transaction. She made calls and sent for a manager and everyone repeated the same thing-even if I had 50 items, I can only use 2 coupons per transaction. I could ring up 25 transactions to use my 50 coupons! I was shocked, but wanted to use my (soon to expire) Splenda coupons. I'll finish my story in post #2.

That is correct uncsweetchic - we have discussed this a few times on here now becuase so many were doing it before they reprogrammed the computers. I don't think everyone realized it has always been their policy to not let you combine both (even though some cashiers allowed it). The register is now programmed to not let you use a paper coupon if you have loaded a digital coupon for that same product onto your Kroger card. Make sure you don't have a paper coupon that will double before you load the digital coupon for the same products. No digital coupons will double. Thanks for the reminder uncsweetchic!

Don't forget, you can't combine BOTH the e-coupons and Manufacturer's coupons. This is a company-wide policy that Kroger implemented recently.
