At the HT in Aberdeen, NC a coupon fairy left a coupon for .75 cents off any Uncle Ben's Whole grain white rice. Well, they had the broccoli and chedder marked down to $1.19 so, with my coupon doubled I got it for free!!

Rite Aid (Smithfield to be exact) had insulated Elmo/Sesame Street sippy cups (the heavy-duty ones) for 75% off. They were originally $7, but I paid $1.74. Combine that with a few UP rewards expiring today and they were free!

Also, the Carter's outlet in Smithfield is taking an extra 30% off clearance this weekend. Their fleece footed pajamas (which Carter's makes the BEST pajamas out of every children's clothing store, IMO) were $3.99. I paid $2.79, which is a great stock up item for the fall/winter months. Also, their website has coupons for 20% off, but I forgot to print one before I went. Regardless, I was pleased with this price even without a coupon.

Finally, the Gymboree outlet in Smithfield had SEVERAL $3.99 and under racks. I got several pairs of jeans for both kiddos for $3.99.

It pays to be nice to the staff at the stores you frequent. One of my Rite Aid's staff saved me a bunch of survey codes from people who did not want their receipts. That's money, no matter how you look at it.
