Tell me about it! I "Liked" Rite Aid on Facebook a week or two ago, and they posted something on FB that caught my attention last week. I printed it out and brought it in to the store. They had no signage and no clue. I waited a few days, checked another RA with the same print out, they still had no clue. Went back to the first RA, where the manager told me he couldn't force a +UP if it didn't work, and he really had no clue how to handle it except to let me return all the stuff. I told him what the other RA does when +UPs don't print, or are from a rain check and he said "Huh? I guess I could do that."

The FB post was seriously lacking in detail on the deal, and the link in the post was to VV. No help. What I bought apparently wasn't quite qualifying, since I tracked $4.49 of a $15 deal, but I bought $15 worth of the right brand posted on FB, though apparently the wrong size? I dunno.

As long as they fix it when it goes wrong, I usually don't care. Tracking would rock.

Oxy - can't find any information on their site or anywhere else on that deal tracking :(

Rite Aid is great with one exception, their store personnel rarely know what's going on with deals and are not informed. And even the website doesn't tell you anything about ANY deals they track.

CVS, in that regard, always comes out ahead, employees know what the deals are and how they work.

Someday, maybe RA will get it all figured out :) They keep adding new concepts and marketing ideas but rarely advance notice customers or employees.

Last week's P&G deal was tracking on receipts. Anyone know if this weeks deal (the magazine) is tracking or would I have to buy everything all at once?

  • queene01 May 1, 2011

Yep! Thanks for all the help! I'm going to go there tomorrow! I will post my savings... I can't wait!

Queen - the ECB's from CVS don't require you spend any more than what they equal or you forfeit the balance of them, hope that makes sense?

  • Oxymoron02 May 1, 2011

Ok, it's cutting me off at a less than sign. As in "I *less-than* 3 Rite Aid" (I heart Rite Aid, if you're having trouble picturing it)

    OK then ...

    I spent $23.01 ($20.88 +UPs, $2.13 cash) and got back $18 +UPs and have SCR to submit for $12.
