Sunday coupon preview 5/1

Posted April 28, 2011

Looks like there will be four, yes four inserts in the Sunday paper on May 1st!  We should see inserts from P&G, RedPlum, and 2 SmartSource inserts.  Thanks to hotcouponworld.com for the heads up!

You can see a list of coupons we will probably get in our paper at hotcouponworld.com HERE.

Keep in mind that we may not get all of the coupons listed and some of them may be a different value.

I do hope we get the Purina Dog Chow coupon for $1.50 - that would be great with the super doubles deal on the Dog Chow!

oxymoron..Thanks for this information. I will be checking my local walgreens to see if they sell the news & observor. This would save me a few cents!!

There may be 2 additional inserts, one called Pepsico and another by P&G which are all target coupons.

We may or may not get them in our paper, will be interesting to see if we do!

If you're buying the paper on Sunday, go somewhere you can flip through it before you buy. Avoid the machines.

First, check Walgreens, since they charge $1.50, instead of $2, for the paper.

If there's not a Walgreens convenient to you, go to Rite Aid or CVS. At Rite Aid, you'll get your discount, if you've earned one, or get points towards your discount if you have not. At CVS, it'll credit towards your quarterly ECBs, and if you have a Green Bag Tag, it's good for a scan too.

Buying an extra paper or 4 at the drugstores is my favorite way to spend ECBs/RRs/+UPs that are soon to expire and I haven't otherwise found a deal worth getting with them. :D

coffeecrazy, when you buy a paper out of the box or in a store, you really need to check the paper first to make sure they are all there. Sadly, some customers steal them and sometimes the carrier who supplies them doesn't include them it seems :(

When you get the paper delivered, you have recourse should your paper not arrive with the inserts. I know I've had to call circulation and get the inserts that were missing (some, not all) in some of my papers. I get three Sunday papers delivered weekly because it only costs me $1.00 per paper delivered, cheaper than buying them anywhere :)

Do they put the coupons in the papers sold in the boxes, like at convenient stores? It is worth buying several, if so. I really need to subscribe to the Sunday N&O; right now I just get the local paper in Wilson.

I love when some of the inserts are included in the Wednesday mailbox paper. We did not get any in ours yesterday here in the Clayton area. :-(

I got some of those yesterday in my mailbox (Knightdale). Every Wednesday I get coupons.
