Found a deal? Here's the place to share it!

I'm teaching a lunch and learn class at a Raleigh business today so I'll be offline for a good part of the late morning and afternoon. Ok, I admit it - I will also be heading to Harris Teeter after the class to do a little shopping. :-)

Post any deals you find and stay safe with this yucky weather!

I got a lot of free stuff with my coupons at Harris Teeter! I had 4 coupons @ 1.50 each for Smart Balance Milk which was on sale for 2/4=FREE. I had 4 coupons for 1.25 for Cream cheese creamers that were on sale and ended up getting those for free. I had 3 coupons for Danactive 4 pack yogurt for $1. They were on sale for 2/4. I picked up 3, used my dollar off coupon and got those for free as well. they also had the crackerful coupons, which were also on sale and ended up spending a dollar per box! Going back Monday to get all the other stuff I couldn't get due to coupon limits! I wish they wouldn't limit their coupons. I feel if one takes the time to search through newspapers and internet sites to obtain coupons, you should be able to us as many as you have AND be able to double them! Hope you all fund great deals too!

Lesson Learned: Don’t use your coupons and then scan your e-vic because your coupons will not double. Always scan your card 1st or before your coupons.

khoward, I never shop at that location so I wouldn't know, but if you're referring to them not doubling coupons that state Do Not Double, only a couple stores abide by that policy that I'm aware of and there are many who do double them. I believe it's left up to store management on that, from what I can tell.

LIMITED TIME OFFER - for those of you who shop CVS regularly (weekly deals) - here is a great way to get some bonus cash:

It is their limited time offer (done periodically) of buying a CVS gift card and getting a bonus gift card for every $25 card you buy and they can be purchased for yourself.

Buy $25 card = get $5.00 bonus gift card
Buy $50 card = get $10.00 bonus gift card

etc. Up to $150.00 in purchases of CVS gift cards.

There are NO fees and NO shipping costs (they mail the cards to you) involved.

momboozer, Nantucket Nectars Half and Half. That stuff made the short list of "What do you mean they don't sell that around here?" when I first moved to NC.

tismith, as long as no more than 2 of the coupons are for the same item, you can use all your internet printables. So, no more than 2 Oscar Mayer IPs, and no more than 2 Reach floss IPs, and no more than 2 Seventh Generation coupons, per store, per day.

tismith, let me clarify a little more, if you had 6 internet coupons and there were two for the same item out of that 6, you could still use all six. Am I making it easier or muddier? LOL

Just read something on WRAL news that is relative to what we do (coupon users) - think about how we hedge this inflationary expense so well with our coupons:

"Mike Walden, an economist with North Carolina State University, estimated that consumers will spend an extra $83 a month for every $1-a-gallon increase in gas prices. The amount includes higher prices paid for groceries and other items that are shipped and have the price of gas factored in to their overall cost."

tismith - you got it :) And you're going to love the savings!!
