Cold Stone Creamery in Southpoint to close temporarily

I received an e-mail from the marketing dept. with Cold Stone Creamery. It seems that they will be relocating the Southpoint location as of early May but will have to close for a short period while they find a new location. Here are the details from the e-mail and a request from Cold Stone.

I received an e-mail from the marketing dept. with Cold Stone Creamery. It seems that they will be relocating the Southpoint location as of early May but will have to close for a short period while they find a new location. Here are the details from the e-mail and a request from Cold Stone:

"Our Durham-Renaissance Center at Southpoint location will be closing it’s doors. Our landlord has used a clause in an agreement we have with them, to terminate our lease. We want to be clear, we are not in any financial distress, and we are current with all of our taxes, rents, etc. We are currently exploring our options to find another Durham location. Please help us communicate to our customers that we are not abandoning them and we hope to find a viable option for a new Durham location soon. Our last day of operation at our current location will either be May 1st or May 8th, we will let you know as soon as we have confirmation of the date. If there are any SouthPoint area shopping centers that would like to have a Cold Stone Creamery, they should feel free to contact us. In the meantime, all gift cards, coupons, cakes, ice cream treats, etc can be handled through our Cary, Apex, or Raleigh Brier Creek locations, whichever is closest to them. "
