Share the deals 4/9

Posted April 9, 2011

Found a deal? Here's the place to share it!

Don't forget to check your Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter Friday e-offers.

There should be 2 coupon inserts in your Sunday paper, a RedPlum and a Smart Source.

As I mentioned earlier this week, since I am working the Southern Woman's Show all weekend, I just won't have much time to blog but I will be back in full force by Monday!

reneeb, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience there. It was the assistant manager that was helping me last night. I don't remember her name though.

@ thekeslings - Thank your lucky stars they did something for you there manually...I have tried shopping at that store every week since they opened and have had a TERRIBLE experience EVERY time (and they've only been open about three or four weeks!) Their manager over there - Michelle - is EXTREMELY difficult to deal with in regards to coupon shoppers...I hope you NEVER have to deal with her or have experiences like I have had in that store...I even called today to see if she was on duty and when they said she was I just decided to pass on shopping there...but if you can do without dealing with her then the $3 off $10 is a great thing! Happy Couponing!

Our new Walgreens in Dunn is offering $3 off $10 for a purchase. So today I got two bags of mini Reese-cups, two hershey kisses bags, and two butterfinger eggs for $2.56. I had a $5 Hershey's coupon (from a previous trip), a $1.00 Hershey's coupon. Then I got back another $5.00 in Register Rewards (actually plus tax) because it had to be done manually. So I made over $2.50. Woohoo!!! :)

I forgot about my Michael's bargains! I got large bottles of white and purple paint for .09, 12x12 scrapbooking paper for a penny a sheet (they were marked .14 but rang up .01), a set of 3 nice paint brushes for .34, various stickers/embellishments for .19-.99, and a couple of really cool things from the dollar bins!

This weekend only Old Navy is having an awesome sale. Take an additional 30-40% off the lowest marked clearance price. I got the cutest shirts for anywhere from $2.64 to $4.72. I also got hubby a pair of cute shorts that were "internet exclusives" and returned to the store for half price. 6 women's shirts and a pair of men's shorts came up to around $32.

If you are an arts & crafts type person, you can download this workshop video for 10 cents which normally would be about $15. Not sure how long it lasts
