thestella, the catalina style RR's from Walgreens seem to be very acceptable at HT's as one CS told me "See? It says Manufacturers Coupon on the top, so we accept those". You might want to bring one of those in and see if they accept those at your HT.

I've never tried using the $/$ coupons that are drug store specific at any grocery store - just never remembered to try LOL

I checked with my lowes last week and they would not accept the CVS $5 of $25 coupons. then my HT in wake Forest told me they were no longer going to accept them either.

gumticker, I've found that HT's who have pharmacies are much more likely to take competitive $/$ coupons from drug stores since they are in direct competition from them. There are some HT's that don't have in store pharmacies, not many, but some.

thanks guys for the info. I'll give my HT a try.

gumtickler, it depends on the Harris Teeter.

The one on 401 and 1010 is in direct competition with Rite Aid for your dollar, and as a result they have always taken my RA and CVS $ off $$ coupons. Other HTs I've been to that are not in the same plaza as a drugstore have not taken them. YMMV.

I am not sure about Harris Teeter, but I used a $5 off $25 coupon from CVS at Lowes in Clayton today and Saturday. They key in the coupon as a competitor's coupons. On Saturday the cashier said she didn't think they took them, but the customer service clerk checked and they did accept it. I used another on Monday, and they took it with no problem.

I guess Harris teeter would not accept it since it is not a grocery store?

Printed mine off, looking at the ad for next week, it IS doable with some of the big deals they're offering and coupons we already have in hand, it could work ;)
