Sign onto your CVS account on their site, go to your Extra Care Bucks account and print off your Winter Savings ECB - (2% of money spent during the prior quarter).

Or, if you prefer, you can just scan your card at the store kiosk and it will print out your ECB there.

Had an "Aw, nuts, stuff's expiring" moment tonight and in spite of having almost no money (payday is tomorrow), I went out to get the deals.

For $3.99 OOP, I came home with:

3 qts Similac RTF (very donateable),
    7 boxes Ronzoni Garden,
6 tubs Best Life buttery spread,
10 small boxes (3 packets each) of Cream of Wheat,
2 copies of the Sunday N&O (hows that for scrambling for a filler for coupon overage, at 10 minutes to closing, with one more store left to hit?),
3 pairs of tweezers (again, filler),
2 tubes of toothpaste, and 2 Crossaction Power toothbrushes (which the CVS gods decided would be in stock the DAY the coupon expires, so I could get them)

And I got back $1.01 more in ECBs than I spent, so really I only spent $2.98.

Went Harris Teeter at North Hills tonight for Yuengling that was on sale and like always the husband and I checked the meat isle out. Well, we found 2 Black Angus NY strip steaks for $4 total!!!! We always check because we find these quite often and buy them to freeze for later. We usually get 2 per month doing this! Last month we found a top sirloin steak for $3 it was about .8 lbs! That is some really cheap great quality steak.

brassy - First you have to buy a "green tag" (.99). You have this tag scanned along with your CVS card each time you shop and bring your own bags. You get .25 each visit and a $1 ECB will print out when you reach 4 scans.

Target also gives you .05 for each reusable bag you use.

I went to Harris Teeter last night for a couple of deals for super doubles. My HT is Chatham Downs in Chapel Hill. They were out of the Philly Cooking Creme but they did have $1.50 off coupons there instead. A good find for the next super doubles maybe.

I read in Family Circle that you can get ECBs at CVS when you use reusable bags or no bag.

Went to Food Lion and spend $1.33 for two 24oz. Hunt's Ketchup bottles. Original price per bottle is $1.69 but was on sale for .99, then I had two 35 cent coupons (.66 cents a bottle).
