Lowes Foods deals 3/30

Posted March 30, 2011

Lowes Foods has some good deals this week on toothpaste, cereal, onions, Merita whole wheat bread, cat treats and more! I especially like the e-offer on General Mills cereals for .40 each after offer and coupon and the FREE Crest toothpaste in the 3-day sale!

Lowes Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 4 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price and you can still use a coupon on it! I love that policy!

Reminder: You can now add digital coupons to your Lowes Foods Reward card by going to Lowesfoods.com. These coupons will not double.

3-Day Sale: Friday, April 1 through Sunday April 3. There will be coupons for many of these products in the Sunday paper on April 3. The deal I like the most from the 3-day sale is the Crest on sale for .99. Use the .50 coupon from 3/13 and it’s FREE!  There are also some good coupons in the P&G coupon booklets we received in the last couple months, especially the $1 coupons for Bounty and Tide (thanks for the reminder, Nancy!).

has anyone gotten their email for the e-offers yet??? I am still not getting mine and i was curious as to what some of the items are.

  • pjwmciver Mar 31, 2011

I got 2 boxes of cinnamon toast crunch cereal for 0.25 cents total. 2/3.00 with lowes card, -0.55 digital coupon on (1), 0.55 MQ doubled. The first was actually free, actually made 0.15 cents. 2nd box 2/3.00, 0.55 MQ doubled = 0.40-0.15 money maker= 0.25 for both. Could just get (1) free if you want.

Mommy2Caleb, for real, I would totally switch to Luvs if they were 99 cents. I think the best I've done on diapers was $2.99 for a jumbo pack. I've reached a point where I refuse to pay more than $5, and I'll only pay $5 if I'm running seriously low on the current size.

I miss the diaper outlet I used to go to when my teenagers were little.

The Lowes in Clayton has accepted $ of $$ coupons from CVS, and I have a similar coupon from I think Dollar General that I am going to try on my next trip as well.

  • Mommy2Caleb+Carly Mar 30, 2011

So Faye, does that mean they will accept reward bucks that print off @ Walgreens/CVS/Rite aid?

The signs I have seen at various lowes abotu accepting comp. coupons indicate they will accept coupons for a total off your total order (like a $/$20) which is what the policy states they will do. I really need to look for more of those coupons!

I stopped in at Lowes on my way home today and there was a big sign on the door at the one I stopped at that said "We accept competitors coupons". I was curious how far they would go with it. I asked about the coupons that sometimes come in the Sunday coupons that have the target logo on them (usually $1 Charmin or Bounty). The customer service person said that they would not accept competitor coupons on a specific product - just dollars off an order types of coupons. As we all know, things are different at different stores, but that is what they told me.

Thanks tshm - I was thinking that Friday was the 31st and we still had 1 day to use them once the sale started. You can still use the .50 toothpaste coupon from 3/13 to get it free. And then there are coupons coming out on Sunday that you can also use. I removed the expiring coupons from the original post above.

I had issues with Lowe's too, but finally I wrote them again that I still wasn't receiving their emails, so they got back to me and apparently "restarted" my account. It worked because today I got their email. So email them and ask them to reactivate your account and see what happens.

The 3 day sales do not start until April 1 and the coupons expire on the 31st. So you can't use them.
