The Kmart ad this week indicates that they are "Super Doubling" coupons up to .99. The information is on the back page of the ad.
Here are the policies for this event:
Double coupons with a face value of .99 or less (so .75 coupons double to $1.50)
No limit on total you can double but there is a limit of 4 of the same item using double coupons
No minimum purchase required
Coupons will only double up to the price of the product. There is no overage.
You must be a Shop Your Way Rewards member to participate
Important: This is an issue that the manager said is very confusing and wanted to make sure we all understood. If you have a coupon that requires you to purchase more than 1 item (like a coupon for .75 off 2 items), the coupon will only double up to the price of the first item. It will NOT fully double up to the price of both items. So, if you are buying an item that costs $1.00 and you have a coupon for .75/2, you must buy 2 of the item to use the coupon. The coupon will only double up to the amount of one of the items which is $1. So, your total after coupon would be $1 for 2 items (.50 each). Clearly, it is better to use coupons that are good on 1 product and do not require you to buy 2 products to use them.
The manager with whom I spoke at the last doubling event in February said they will take and double printable coupons, although I have heard that not all stores will. Keep that in mind.
