Coupon policy during Super Doubles:

* HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has worked in the past).

* HT will Super Double coupons worth up to $1.98 face value. A $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00. A $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00. A $2.00 coupon will not double at all and will only be taken at face value ($2.00).

* HT will super double/double up to 20 coupons per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. If you have 20 $1 coupons and 20 .75 coupons, only 20 total will double. They will not double 20 coupons that are under $1 and also super double another 20 coupons that are over $1. It's 20 total per day.

* HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first three.

Let's have some fun!

I am definitely learning more to cut coupons that I don't originally think I will use. Good way to donate to food banks as well as try some new things. I still spend less than I used to. I also saw someone at the store with her coupon notebook and gave her all the coupons that I knew I wouldn't use as well as leaving some on the shelves. Coupon fairy!

The HT in Cameron Village had 4 bottles of Log Cabin on the shelf I got 2 of them with my raincheck plus used my $1 off coupon. Also had coupons for Free Fruit YoCrunch got 2, Danimals Drinkables, Danactive, Danonino all for free with $1 coupon. Yes people in my house like yogurt. Total paid $2.23.

I used 20 of the $1 off 7th generation that I ordered for $2.40 from that were doubled at HT and got their boxes of tissues for the .08 tax cost. for someone with horrible allergies this is a lifesaver! total cost for 20 boxes= $3.40

howarddonna - I had the same questions earlier today but with a different product. The manager at the HT I shop said you can only use like coupons on the items. He said I could use one or the other but could not mix them.

    Hope that helps

  • purplepat777 Mar 25, 2011

Nancy, the HT in Fuquay told me they would not take any coupons (even if they are Mfrs Coupons) if they did not have the HT logo on them. So, maybe different stores have different policies.

  • howarddonna Mar 25, 2011

Does anyone know if it is possible to couple a bogo coupon for axe deoderant with a cents off coupon for the same product? Thanks.

  • Nancy Mar 25, 2011

jz - I got the nilla wafers too :) Hubby loves those and I have the banana peelie too - thanks to a friend!!!

Guess I'm NOT done with HT yet this week ~sigh~ they sure know how to keep making me go back

"Norm!" - no joke, one of the shift managers at HT called that out to me when I went in yesterday morning! LOL (for those that recall Cheers)

  • lvdad06 Mar 25, 2011

I went to HT and got $50.35 worth of groceries and only paid $20.23. Can't wait to go again on Sat.

  • Trickat Mar 25, 2011

Yay, Nancy! Mine showed up with 1.99 Nilla wafers(I hope reduced fat is included) - with the free bananas peelie, sugar free vanilla pudding mix I've been saving, and the free Smart Balance - guess what I'm making for dessert tonight?

  • Nancy Mar 25, 2011

Yea! I suddenly (after two weeks of not getting it) got my mid-week eVic specials email :) Guess my "internet provider" suddenly got smart? Or perhaps HT realized they had an issue?

Either way, glad to see it back :)
