Coupon policy during Super Doubles:

* HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has worked in the past).

* HT will Super Double coupons worth up to $1.98 face value. A $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00. A $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00. A $2.00 coupon will not double at all and will only be taken at face value ($2.00).

* HT will super double/double up to 20 coupons per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. If you have 20 $1 coupons and 20 .75 coupons, only 20 total will double. They will not double 20 coupons that are under $1 and also super double another 20 coupons that are over $1. It's 20 total per day.

* HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first three.

Let's have some fun!

Is anyone else having problems printing the Tony's coupon? I keep getting a network-related error message.

  • Oxymoron02 Mar 21, 2011

I can't speak for other email programs, but I get my HT email every week with yahoo. I set up a filter and told it where to send them when they arrive, and have never missed one.

I also contacted HT about the issues with the mid-week email and basically got the same response. I responded back to the their email that I stronly suspected that the issue was on their end. I even suggested that they read some of the posts from the online blogs. I got an additional response that their IT dept. had investigted and that nothing had changed on their end and that I needed to contact my email provider. I gave up at that point.

Faye, I'll be at the one in Aberdeen, NC. Other than the one in Apex,NC (I think) the Aberdeen location is the closet.

Thanks Faye!! I called the 800 number and I was told that I have signed up and should be getting emails this Wednesday. Woohoo!

RCC - going early in the am is a snap, hardly a body in the store except staff and I'm home before 8:30am, done and put away :)

FYI - I got a response today from Harris Teeter about the missing mid week evic specials many seem to be having. Their response was a waste, since in my initial contact I told them it was not going to spam or junk mail and that several people were experiencing the same problem, but with different internet access providers. I'm very disappointed and responded as such.

Thank you for your email. I'm sorry you haven't received your weekly email(s). We're showing that you're still signed up for our e-VIC email program. Please check your spam folder to ensure that our email wasn't sent there by mistake. If this is not the case, please check with your internet provider and let them know that you're not receiving legitimate business emails. Also, please add as a trusted sender if you haven't already done so.

    Thanks for being our customer!

tmsellers, you can check the price of any item at HT by using the express lane feature of HT's website. Once you go to the HT website, click on express lane, select your store, and then there is a search box that you can type in any item and it will show the current price at your store. The express lane is usually updated late Tuesday afternoons with the prices for the next week. You cannot use express lane to get sale end dates as it will always say that the sale price ends on Tuesday. I use express lane to price check items and to also plan ahead during SD by checking Tuesday night before the sale starts. Hope this helps!

All you early morning SDers scare me. I'd rather go at 9:30 pm, have the store largely to myself and have fewer deals, though, honestly, they've largely been stocking when I'm there, and I haven't had much trouble finding items.

Anyone know the price of Huggies Pullups at HT??? I am hoping to get a good deal with the $1.50 q's from 3/20 during SD's.
