Mamapedia Deals

The Six O'Clock Scramble: $14 for a 6 mo. of Meal Planning services from The Six O’Clock Scramble. This is an interesting deal. I looked at the sample menu and it was healthy and easy. Most ingredients can be bought using sales and often with coupons. Although I have not tried this service before, it looks helpful for the novice meal planner. With that said, you can find plenty of good recipes online for free, but there are other benefits including a grocery list for each recipe as well as grocery tips.  If anyone gets this deal, let me know what you think of it.

There are a few other Mamapedia deals this week including iron-on pant cuffs to extend the life of pants that have become too short. edible cupcake toppers, kids cooking supplies and a Baby Genius bundle.

linda - the penguin is a display found in the frozen food section of many Lowes foods and Harris Teeter grocery stores. There are several different product coupons on the board display.

The penguin stands about 5 feet tall :)

What is the Penguin Coupon and where do you get it?

  • Nancy Mar 8, 2011

Lowes Foods has the DeWafflebaker 18 count buttermilk or blueberry pancakes on sale B1G1 which makes them $1.90 each, with the Penguin coupon for $1 off they end up being 90 cents! Excellent price since they're normally $3.79!!!

LOL - an uncooking class! That's funny.

I am sure my girls will be joining me to use the Swift Creek Groupon. They LOVE smoothies! I don't like coffee, so smoothies for everyone!

Swift Creek is walking distance from my house and their fru-fru coffee drinks aren't bad. I don't usually order fru-fru coffee drinks, so my daughter may be more interested in this deal than I am. Or maybe I won't tell her and I'll just get them for her birthday.

The raw food movement interests me a little, but maybe not enough so to take a class. FWIW, I went to their website and it's not a cooking class, it's an uncooking class. ;)
