2 Coupon sections in Sunday paper

Posted March 6, 2011

There were 2 coupon sections in the Sunday paper this week including a Smart Source section and a Redplum section. Here are some of my favorites:

.75/2 Kellogg's Nutrigrain

$2.00/1 Wisk

$3.00/1 Pedigree

.75/1 Dole frozen fruit

$1/3 Birdseye frozen veggies (which works very well with the Lowe's Foods and Harris Teeter sale this week!)

.50/1 Chex cereal

.50/1 Total cereal

$2/1 John Frieda product (should match well with a drug store deal in the next few weeks)

Buy 1 Biore strip, get one free Biore cleanser (remember, I have a tweenager!)

$1/1 Colgate Total Advanced (should match well with a drug store deal in the next few weeks)

$1.50/1 Hartz Crunch & Clean dog biscuit (hoping they will be on sale during next HT Super Doubles - whenever that may be)

BOGO Trident Gum (will wait for a drug store BOGO sale and get both free)

I agree finesse - toothpaste is always a good stockpile item when it is free or pretty close to it!

Thank you ladies for the helpful information!! @ Faye, I often have a hard time holding on to my +up's, rr, and ecb's. Just so excited I have them at my disposal and when I do spend them there not on products that will rollover.
@ralieghcitizenshipclasses, I don't have a major stockpile (5 at the moment), but I just feel you can never have enough toothpaste:).

labs - as I posted earlier, we are moving this weekend so I am doing my best to juggle the deals and moving all our belongings to another house. I just posted CVS and will have the others up by this evening. Thank you all for you patience!

Finesse - I will be doing the Rite Aid Colgate deal because I have +UP's from last week to roll into this week which makes it totally free. :-)

If you don't have +UP's to roll, it's still a good way to get started and just roll the $2 +UP's you earn into another deal earning +UP's so you keep them rolling and keep your out of pocket low.

finesse, if you *don't* already have a stockpile of toothpaste, scoring a freebie is an awesome way to start building one.

If you already have an impressive toothpaste stockpile, you might wait a week or two and see if you can turn it into a money maker.

Just remember, there will always be another sale and coupon, especially where toothpaste is concerned.

Also, if it is inconvenient to get to the store offering the freebie and you're not in need of the toothpaste right now, you might pass and wait for a better deal.

Personally, I have 3 Rite-Aids near me, and the shelter never says no to more toothpaste. I'm not going to grab extra papers to score more of this free (there have been past freebies that were worth an extra paper or 3 for my family), but I'll probably pick up a tube.

No CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreen's sales today?

  • finesse187 Mar 6, 2011

Ms. Faye, Rite-aid has the colgate 2.99 and 2up rewards. With the coupon and the up rewards it's essential like getting it for free. Would you use it on this deal or wait?
