Kmart super double coupons 2/27 - 3/5

Posted February 27, 2011

Kmart will be super doubling coupons $2 or less through March 5 with a ShopYourWay Rewards card. If you don't have a rewards card, you can get one in stores for free. They will double coupons that are $2 or less so a $2 coupon doubles to $4.00. There is a limit of 5 coupons super doubled per person per day with a $25 purchase. Limit of 4 of the same item using double coupons.

If you shop this promotion and find any good deals, please post them here. There is not a Kmart near me and since they limit to 5 coupons per person, I won't be making a special trip to go there. If you live near a Kmart, it may be worth a look. Make sure you call your local store first to make sure they are participating. The Garner store usually participates.

Click the link in the box above for more details on the Shop Your Way rewards program.

I had a few good coupons that were expiring yesterday, so I called the Garner Kmart to see if they were participating in the double coupons week. The woman told me no. Were you all able to get double coupons at the Garner store?

Here is a funny. The cashier last time I did the double coupons did not want to to double my shaving cream coupon because the color of the one I purchased did not appear on the face of the coupon. After discussing with the supervisor who initially agreed with her; they eventually relented. I was about to get testy. Needless, Kmart is not used to doing the coupon thing.

I just checked the ad and this is what it says in the back: With your Shop Your Way Rewards member account and purchase of $25 or more in grocery and drugstore merchandise.
I would bring the ad in and see what they say then. To me, that means, $25 total, whether it be one or the other or both, but not separately.
I'm thinking because they don't do this often like the other stores, their sales people are not informed well and don't know how to handle it.

I agree cvaughan - too much to spend for the discount. I have never heard of that requirement and I think the cashier had it all wrong. Maybe their store just isn't participating.

I tried to used my coupons at the Kmart by Triangle Town Center last night and my coupons were not doubled. When I went to the customer service desk to get my refund they told me that since I had coupons in both grocery and drug store items that I had to have spent $25 in both departments befor my coupons would double. As a coupon shopper, who spends $50? There ad is very misleading.

Last time I did this, they let my total equal $25 BEFORE my coupons. My advice is to ask the cashier and then go to that cashier.

I did this last time at the cary store and the total had to equal $25 before coupons. The cashiers are sort of unknowledgeable about coupons in general so you have to watch them closely. I did have some good deals but they were very specific.

Your total has to equal $25 after coupons, according to the Garner store manager.

Does your total have to equal $25 or does the amount before coupons have to equal $25?
