You're welcome momboozer :) Doesn't matter who gets credit, we're all here to help each other :)

  • momboozer Feb 27, 2011

Sorry Nancy, I didn't look at who replied to my question. Thanks for the answer.

Thanks Faye. It gets confusing when you read from many about doing this and you didn't think it could be done. With different places having different rules it is sometimes hard to keep them straight. I will add this to my notes in my notebook.

momboozer - ONLY at HT can you stack a MQ with one of their e-coupons, at Kroger and Lowes Foods, their digital coupons are taken first and your MQ will be rejected at the register, they'll beep and the screen will tell the cashier you've already used a coupon for that same item :(

Food Lion I don't believe has e-coupons, I'm not sure, I hardly ever use that store personally.

The best thing about HT's policy on e-coupons is that your MQ will double AND you get the e-coupon too - they have the best deal there :)

    Hope that helps some.

Faye-Please tell me again the rules regarding stacking ecoupons and MQ coupons. Can you do this? Does it differ from store to store or are people just getting away with it? I generally do not do ecoupons simply because they cannot be doubled and I thought you cannot combine a MQ coupon. Can you clear this up for me??

Thanks for the heads up, Faye! I live all of 1 minute from my Harris Teeter, so the special trip is worth it. :)

I am sure that most of the people saving money with deals/coupons are planning enough ahead to make their trip for bargains included in any errands they might already be running. most people that coupon are planners in my experience.

I'm all for bargains, using coupons and saving money (it adds up), but please tell me at today's gas prices no one is running out on a special trip of any distance just to grab a couple of bargains because you can get them one day for almost free. I hate to be a joy killer, but if you are you are wasting time and money.

FYI: In my e-vic email I had B1G1F of Mrs. Ts Pierogies. I also had a coupon from the March issue of ALL You. The store had them on sale for 2/$4 so, I purchased 2 boxes for $1. I shop at the Leesville Rd. HT. Hope this helps at least 1 more person.
