Rite Aid L'Oreal Excellence Hair color, some colors are on clearance for 50% off of $9.99 (somehow each came up to $4.74), bought 2, used the $4 off in ad coupon $9.48 - $4 = $5.48, used a Sunday insert coupon for $5 off any 2 L'Oreal hair colors = $0.48 and I got (actually it did not print out, so I had to call, no problems, they are mailing it to me) the $5Up Reward. Final cost, I made $, almost $5 after taxes. Don't know if all RA's had any on clearance but the one on 55 in Apex does.

Southern Savers posted about a coupon sale at Recyclebank. It is easy to earn points, play a game, watch a video etc. The coupons are sent to your email and you print them from there. I was able to get $10 of $50 at Staples, B1G1 entree at Ruby Tuesday, 3 $2cps for Naked Drinks and 3 $2cps for Earth salads. Using the staples today with 20% off ink, $10 coupon and $20 rewards to get some more ink. Follow this link.

From an e-mail I received from Beth:
"I wanted to let you know about a new-ish hair salon that opened next to the Food Lion at McGees Crossroads on Hwy. 210 at I-40. It has always been a hair salon but it is under new ownership now. The place is called "Hair Cuts Plus" and the lady who runs the place, Rhonda, used to run the business from her home. She offers mens hair cuts everyday for $10, I believe kids are $8 (probably up to age 12, but not sure). I think her standard price for women is $12, but I'm not entirely sure about that. They are open every day until 8pm and on Saturday's too. I thought I would pass this along."

    Thanks Beth!

At the Aldi's in Fuquay they are taking 3.00 off their 2 lb packages of 85/15 ground beef with tomorrow's date of 2/25. A good deal for me since I have a freezer.
It comes out to about a 1.60 per pound.

I am a member of Ipsos Isay Surveys. You earn points for doing surveys. After you accumulate 1000 points, you can cash it in for a $10 gift card or donate to a charity. I usually get a $10 gift card every 3-4 weeks. I've also gotten free cereal (Kellogg's Fiber Plus before it hit the shelves) and detergent (Cascade gel pacs) and have been asked to try them and then give my opinion. Yay for free stuff and free money! I use the $10 gift cards to fill up my Starbucks rewards card, so then I can't overindulge in the sweet goodness of lattes.

I am a subscriber to for a few years now. They send lots of samples, coupons and coupons to share with friends on new and upcoming products. The website also has lots of tips and recipes.I didn't realize how valuable this was to me, because I really wasn't into coupons. But after losing my job and being forced to find ways to save I have a new appreciation for the site, coupons and the Smart Shopper and other blogs. I can't wait to get into one of the classes so I can really get the best out of couponing and saving. It's a little overwhelming at times. But, I hope you enjoy vocalpoint as much as I do.
