Kroger deals 2/20

Posted February 21, 2011

There are some really good deals at Kroger this week including the continuation of the Mega Event promotion: Buy 10 participating items and get $3 off at the register and another $3 coupon to use on your next transaction. PLUS, there are free toothpaste and tuna deals as well as a great buy on grapes and boneless skinless chicken breast!

Deals valid February 20 – February 26.

Kroger Coupon Policy Basics

Doubles coupons up to .50

Many Kroger stores only allow 2 identical coupons per day (check with your store about their limits)

No total limits of coupons doubled per day

Senior citizen’s Day on Tuesday’s: If you are born on or before 1954, receive a 5% discount on total grocery bill (excludes alcohol, tobacco and prescriptions)

Kroger e-coupons can be found at the link in the box above

Prescription Transfer Bonus: The ad indicates that if you transfer a prescription, you will get $25 in free groceries. They ad $25 to your Kroger card to use in the store.

Daytona 500 Mega Event: Save $3 now and Save $3 later (a $3 coupon prints out at checkout good on next purchase) when you buy 10 participating items with your shopper’s card. Basically, you save .30 off each item at the register and then get another .30 per item back in the form of a register coupon to be used on the next purchase. I have to admit, I am noticing a lot of processed foods on the mega event for this time. I would have liked to see more choices like Steamfresh veggies.

Only a fraction of the qualifying items are mentioned in the ad. For the full list Click HERE.

Does Kroger ever have triple coupons anymore? I have not seen that in ages. I started couponing seriously this year, so wondered if I just missed it.

I took advantage of the Daytona Mega event last week and got 3 $3 off coupons. I went to use them yesterday and was told I can only use 1 per visit. Just fyi. This was at Kroger at Six Forks and Wake Forest.

bcde, the Kroger ecoupons are manufacturers coupons and are not to be coupled with other coupons. Sorry.

  • momboozer Feb 22, 2011

totalchaos - Thanks. I didn't think so but when you have 10 for mega deal and they add 10 for $10 I want to make sure. I know many times it is a store's way to make you think you are getting a great deal on some things when you are really not.

  • bcde Feb 21, 2011

If you load the e-coupons, can you use regular paper coupons for the same product? I know at HT you can do that, but I couldn't find it 'spelled out'on the Kroger site.

Wish we could drink 1% - we have to wait until my youngest is 2 to switch back.

Just started the whole coupon thing the first of the year. This is the cheapest I've seen milk since then. I never payed attention to the cost of milk before so not sure how much cheaper it can get. I bought 4 Skims today. Will buy more before the sale ends. I ♥ my new freezer!!

momboozer - 10 for $10 = you can buy 5 for $5 if you like! You do not have to buy all 10 unless it is specified.

  • momboozer Feb 21, 2011

In regards to the 10 for $10 items: Do you have to buy 10 items to get each for $1? If you drink 1% milk; it is even cheaper than the 2%.

  • kcampbell113 Feb 21, 2011

Saw many things in the add - milk is a biggy for us so at $2.67 a gallon I will be at Krogers this week.
