All together, I made 4 trips during SD and spent $58.17 for $456.00 worth of food. My weekly grocery budget is $60 so I stayed within that and I have enough hamburger helper and mashed potatoes to last our house until April/May. Not to mention the GG veggies...I think my final count was 26? Thanks Faye for all of your help and I'm sorry you got the nasty bug thats been going around, I had it about a week and a half ago...yuck yuck! Feel better soon!

Hope you both get to feeling better, Faye!

Faye hope you and mini me feel better soon! Totals for yesterday were. $62.28 saved $50.61. Spent $11.67. That is with Doritos BOGO that I did not have a coupon for. Happy shopping! One more day left.

Harris Teeter Valentines stuff is 75% off. I picked up some cards with pencils yesterday. It was not ringing up right, so CMS had to over ride it. But when he did that it took off another discount and they ended up being $.15 each. CMS said let it go thru...we just want to get rid of them! I wish I would have grabbed more. But happy I got enough for next year!!

I took advantage of HT's bogo on 30oz. Barbers chicken cordon bleu. Also picked up some much needed batteries..with their buy 2 (4ct aa,aaa), *also 2cc, 1 9v, you get 3 packs free. Awesome deal. Total paid 95.79, *and that included a buggie full including a large bag of Kibble & Bit...total saved $36.06

Faye - sorry to hear you are down. It is always hard to take care of a sick one when you are there yourself. YOu could use this time to jumpstart you spring diet. :) Just had to say it; couldn't pass it up.

6 days of SD down so far, and I've managed to hit that every day. I'm seriously not buying soda again for 6 months the deals were that good (two $1 off 2 Sierra Mist Qs, doubled, makes 4 Sierra Mist and 6 assorted other Pepsi $3.56). I'm also out of grocery money for the rest of the month. I have enough salad dressing to last well into the awesome sales that should pop up this summer and enough Wholly Guacamole to start using it as a facial mask.

    Today I saved 83%.

In 6 days I've spent $122.76 (just so you know, this is about half my monthly grocery budget) and saved over 84%.

It's more than I wanted to spend, but knowing that in May I STILL won't have to buy soda makes me happy. I definitely could have done better, but my husband demanded "fresh meat" so that total includes a couple of steaks, salmon and lox, as well as a few things we were out (milk, which made the Oreos free after coupon :D, bread, pancake syrup).

I was definitely more organized this SD. Had a plan.

Hi portia - good to see you back on the blog! I found the philly cream cheese in the refrigerated pasta section. It seems to be in many different locations depending on the store. Seems like an odd marketing idea.

Great job to everyone on your savings! I won't be making it to HT again during SD. My daughter and I both have a stomach bug. :-( Actually, I might not be eating again during super doubles! Ahhhh, the joys of elementary and middle school germs.......
