Found a deal? Share it here!

You won't see much of me on the blog Saturday. Between the class at WRAL and some family time planned for the afternoon and evening, I am leaving it up to you all to post any good deals you happen to find. Actually, I hope you are able to spend some time outside and enjoy this beautiful weather with your families and loved ones!

If you wear contact lenses, Target has a good deal going on with the twin pack of Opti-Free Replenish solution on sale for $10. I had a coupon from a while back that was for $4 off a twin pack, so it made it only $6 for two bottles!

FYI- If you go to an Ulta cosmestics store this weekend, so today, and purchase $17.50 of their products (must be Ulta, not Revlon, Maybelline, etc., then you will receive a cute handbag with 15 items of cosmetics for free. The value is $88 or so they state. I am on their mailing list, so I automatically received a $3.50 coupon in the mail I used it towards the $17.50 and now I have a cute little cosmetics bag w/ 2 eyeshadow quads, mascara, lip gloss, nail polish, 4 brush set, etc soley b/c I spent $14.00.

I was at the Bass Outlet near the airport for their buy 1 pair, get 2 pairs of shoes free deal. That's quite a deal! Other shoes were 60% off and 75% off. In addition, most of their purses were 75% off and scarves and wool blankets were 80% off. I picked up three of the blankets. They were normally $48 each. It cost $9.60 each. I also got a fabulous purse normally $70 for $28. And a new winter scarf, cashmere, normally $48 for $9.60. If you can make it out there by Tuesday, definitely go!!

Wow, a user named biz net ads is posting an ad for a net business, I'm shocked.

Just because we try to be frugal doesn't mean we're looking for get rich quick schemes.

Personally, I had the chance to get in on those "10-10" long distance numbers back in '95, for a whopping $250. I passed, though in retrospect that wasn't the best choice. I'd rather keep my money and invest it wisely than chase unicorns. It's the same reason I don't play the lottery. The risk to reward ratio stinks.

Looks like the only deal in town today is Super Doubles. I know this tends to be a popular thread, but it's Saturday. Anyone not otherwise involved with family today (my family plans got cancelled due to illness at my In-Laws, where we were going to go hang out) was either at Faye's class, at Super Doubles, or both. :)

Harris Teeter has some carts with Valentine's stuff for 75% off. I got Valentines with pencils for $1.25 and plates and napkins for .62 each.
