Harris Teeter Super Doubles deals list 2/16

Posted February 11, 2011
Updated February 12, 2011

Here is the HT Super Doubles Deals list with coupon matchups. It is a work in progress and we are adding new deals every day. The sale and non-sale prices come from the HT Express Lane online prices and from Nancy’s intel from checking out which prices would carry over through Super Doubles. Thanks again Nancy for typing out the long list of items staying on sale! I matched them with available coupons and weeded out those that don't offer a good deal. We are still waiting to get the full ad with sales starting Wednesday. I should have that up sometime Tuesday.

Links to the printable coupons mentioned in the deals below can be found in the coupon box to the left. Be sure to click on the More tab to see the rest of the coupon links.

Super Doubles coupon policies are at the bottom of this post.

The list is sorted by price after coupon. Please post other deals you find!

Coupon policy during Super Doubles:

* HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has worked in the past).

* HT will Super Double coupons worth up to $1.98 face value. A $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00. A $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00. A $2.00 coupon will not double at all and will only be taken at face value ($2.00).

* HT will super double/double up to 20 coupons per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. If you have 20 $1 coupons and 20 .75 coupons, only 20 total will double. They will not double 20 coupons that are under $1 and also super double another 20 coupons that are over $1. It's 20 total per day.

* HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first three.

Oops I forgot. I hope you get better soon Faye. I am fighting a cold too, but is is not going to keep me away from HT tomorrow! Thanks for all your help!

  • gailygoo Feb 15, 2011

Faye it was great meeting you in Lowe's foods when I bought the inserts from you. I told all my friends "I met a celebrity today!"
Thank you for the advance notice on HTs DBLS. I have all my coupons ready for 7am tomorrow.
One question....I read somewhere that as long as the first 5 numbers after the 9 or 5 match the first 5 of the UPC it will scan.....meaning you don't have to buy exactly what the coupon says. Can you tell me if this is true?

  • heremeaj Feb 15, 2011

Does HT (or any Raleigh grocery store) take a competitor coupon like from Target? If so, which ones and do those coupons double?

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Feb 14, 2011

    Is it Wednesday yet?? :-)

Thanks for the info pss3 - I will venture over to AFC and check out the ad in a minute. Sounds like there are some good deals this time around!

Yes, creationstation, if the bar code starts with a 5, it will double automatically as long as the store doubles coupons and the coupon is within the amount the store doubles. Most HT's, Lowes Foods and Krogers will let those Do Not Double coupons double. The Wilson HT and a couple Cary HT's do't let them double, though (I think it's the one at Cary Town and the one at High House).

Faye, I used the Cole bread coupon this past week and the computer took it. Not even a beep. I have never seen anything other than loaves so I did not even read the working carefully. I have something to add to the Double list. My son loves Nutella. I have 2 $1 coupons. I have never seen it on sale so I am going to use these making them $1.99 each. What about Clorox 2. Can you go cheaper than 3.99 on a regular basis?

  • pss3 Feb 13, 2011

A full cup has the complete ad up. It looks like HT is also doing a General Mills deal with SD (buy 20 participating items and get $6 off instantly). Also if you buy 10 participating Pillsbury products you get $4 off (not sure if instant or cat). This should add some "fun" to getting the best deals. What a great week it will be at HT.

  • creationstation3 Feb 13, 2011

I went to print the guacamole coupon, and it says do not double or triple. Does HT still double these?

Thank you so much for doing all this. What a blessing to everyone who uses coupons! I am so thankful that I have found this blog!!!

Batey - you are so right! The Coles coupon is for breadsticks. I was getting my Q's ready to shop HT tomorrow and there it was - breadsticks. Bummer. Well, here's hoping the breadsticks will be on sale next week! LOL

I don't even see the Cole's breadsticks on the Express Lane for either of the HT stores I shop. Has anyone seen them?

  • rayne0524 Feb 12, 2011
