I don't do the mall either, but my daugher *had* to have a new pink Domo from Spencers (? I think), which is at Crabtree. I prefer root canals to malls, but the Lego store was pretty cool. They had a bunch of keychains on clearance, including a number of their Star Wars characters. Mostly lesser characters, but my husband really wanted Admiral Ackbar (sp), and he was on sale for $1.48. They had a number of stormtroopers on clearance, and because I'm patient I dug through the clearance until I pulled out a Luke. :)

They had Snape (from Harry Potter) keychains in the clearance too.

Your son might love, and get nostalgic over, the other V-day offering. You put it together and it spells "Love you" and all the letters stand up.

The frame was small (1.5x2-ish), but only $5. I think the other was the same, maybe $7.

RCC - and don't you know he'll love that gift, for many weeks :)

Where is the Lego store? I don't 'do' malls, now that kids are grown. But my son had so many Lego's over his lifetime! I even bought him a lego phone that he had to assemble, found it at a toy outlet in Northern VA back when he was 8 years old - ahem, he's now 25!

All those Coffeemate coupons were us trying to give him a birthday present .... yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

Haven't bought a Vday card for my husband yet, don't think he's got mine either, and his daughter's Bday is coming up in March, so I should be able to slip him this Q so he can take care of them both on his own.

As an aside, have any of you been in the Lego store? They have a little Lego picture frame with a heart on the front for Vday. Super cute.

I know CVS carries American Greetings - good way to tie in with ECB's too, free cards :)

Wonderful, Nancy! Happy Birthday to Mr. N. :-)

Thanks for the Dollar Tree suggestion, superturfguy! I think Target carries American Greeting cards as well so could be a good deal there with the coupon and the less expensive cards (that are over .99).

Thanks Faye! Hubby's birthday is the 12th - that helps :)

Hard to beat 50 Cents for cards at Dollar Tree (just saying) :-)
