The Kroger in MLK in Durham only doubled 1 identical Hunts tomoate sauce coupon. The cashier said the other coupons were at face value so people don't get free grocery!!!!! I was offended and told her to keep the entire cart!

Faye, it's not like the grocery store isn't reimbursed back!

I frequently do multiple $5 off 10 items in one transaction during the mega events and don't have any problems (as long as I count everything correctly). CS has been helpful at helping me correct my mistakes when something doesn't go just right, though! The Kroger in Fuquay hasn't given me problems about multiple coupons in the past. Sometimes I take reusable bags with me so I can group the items in sets of 10 my cart and I don't have to keep recounting to double check myself! I did 80 items in one purchase during the fall mega event.

Kroger in Cary on 64 is great! 20 items, $10 off, no problem. They even took my printable 3.99 NY coupon without a glitch. Spent $20 on 27 items including 3 packs of Kraft cheese, 2 Phil cream cheese, Quaker rice cakes etc!

j3434, I shop at the Kroger at Lake Pine and 64 in Apex.

jkay, which kroger do you use? i am not a fan of my local kroger, but i have a coworker who loves hers. :)

If I have any doubts going in I just ask at the service desk and tell them I want to get things clarified before I start shopping. Kroger is my favorite store - the employees are well informed about the promotions and it's the store where I consistantly get good deals with no hassle. For the 'buy 10' I keep the multiples of 10 in the top of the cart and everything else in the bottom - makes it easy to keep count.

Thank you Faye and jkay, it's great to have quick responses - especially today when I plan on going shopping later this morning! I need 20 items, but I won't be shy this time about removing 10 if the deal doesn't go through - it's MY money, afterall ;)

At the Kroger where I shop you get $5 off for every 10 participating items. Just make sure to buy in multiples of 10 - as many as you want all in the same shopping trip. The most I've done is 30 items in one trip, but the store employees told me it could be 50 or 60 or 100....

In the past you could do more than 1 set of 10 in each order and get the $5 for each set although I have not tried it this time. I usually break it up into orders of ten so I make sure I count everything right and have enough in each order. Keep in mind that many Kroger stores in the area limit you to 2 coupons per manufacturer per day and they may not let you use as many as you would like to do the deal three times.

Kraft singles - saw 2% in the pic, so .24 after 75/1 and buy 10 items.

Quaker Rice Cakes (we like the cheddar flavor) .79 after buy 10 deal - there were also peelies a while back, $1/3

Can anyone confirm if you can buy 20 items and get $10, 30/$15 etc? I tried this on 20 items once when I first started out couponing and it failed me. Just wondering if back then I missed a step or picked up an incorrect item (I really struggled there for a while.)
