jkay, WARNING! WARNING! Shopping this way is addictive and habit forming :)

Ok, just felt I needed to toss that out there ~snicker~

  • jkay Jan 24, 2011

CVS it is then! Thanks Faye, I'll give it a try.

jkay - CVS is the easiest store to start with. Their reward system is very straightforward. Buy the advertised Extra Bucks deal and get the rebate back right after you make your purchase. It will be attached to the receipt. You can then turn around and use it on another item right away or save to apply towards the Extra Buck deals the next week (called rolling your ECB's). For more info see the information I have written here (it's also on the front page of this blog in one of the 5 boxes in the middle of the page called Drug Store Reward Programs:

    Hope that helps!

Thank you so much for the help. I actually live in fuquay so i will try and make it.

Help! I don't usually shop at drug stores, but these deals are enticing. I want to start out with just one store to learn the system. Which is the most simple? CVS? Rite Aid? Walgreens? I don't know where to start.

  • Nancy Jan 24, 2011

tismith - yes, ECB's are just like cash :) Same with the UP rewards at Rite Aid and the Register Rewards at Walgreens :)

Hope you can come tonight to our coupon swap?? It's at Starbucks on Main St in Fuquay (near Wendy's/Taco Bell)! 7pm, the chatter is all about coupons/deals etc!

My kiosk gave me a $2 off coupon today for Huggies diapers. Makes it an even better deal!

I am kinda new to the whole coupon scene and the cards that all the stores have now. I was wondering for ex: with the cvs ECB's is that like using cash?
