Lowes Foods deals 1/19

Posted January 19, 2011

There is a huge BOGO sale going on at Lowes Foods this week. Lots of great buys on meat, especially! There is also a fabulous buy on Chex Mix! Deals valid January 19 - January 25, 2011.

Lowes Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 4 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price and you can still use a coupon on it! I love that policy!

3-Week Coupons are still valid. The 3-week coupons from last week are still good through January 25. These are all store coupons and can be coupled with manufacturer’s coupons to maximize savings. In addition, many Lowes Foods stores will let you reuse the store coupons until they expire. Just ask your cashier for them back after she/he scans them. If you don’t get the Lowes Foods flyer with the coupons in your mailbox, you can pick them up in-store this week. Here are the better deals using the coupons:

I had an experience at the Lowes Foods at 3480 Kildaire Farm Rd today, and was wondering if this is a change at this store or all of them. I picked up a few clearance items (with the red bar code), and when I checked out, the cashier denied my coupon use. I had purchased the items exactly as required, they were just 50% off. When I asked at the service desk, the manager confirmed that I could not use the coupons, because the items were already discounted. I had them refunded, but I have never had this problem before. Has anyone else?

Like I need any further excuse to score some of my favorite Turtle Chex Mix :) this week but I can't help wanting to remind every to clip those Box Tops For Education labels off the the back of their bags. If you picked up four bags, that translates into 40cents for your favorite school. I promise you, they can use it!!

I don't shop at Lowe's Food very often but might drive the distance for some of these deals. Are the in-store coupons still available at the store and where would they be located? I am a bit new to this.

Boy do I feel blind. I looked up again and found the coupon link. I still cannot print anything that comes from SmartShopper. Thanks for lessoning our search time!

I have unable to find the Heinz coupon. Where should I look? Also I cannot print any of SmartShopper coupons. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

    @Nancy... Thank you!

The only regular chance I have of earning fresh rewards is by bringing my own bag. At 5 cents a bag, it'll take me months to earn a reward, but I'm patient. :)

  • Nancy Jan 19, 2011

Thanks Faye, I too struggle with making the Fresh Rewards deals work, they are usually cost prohibitive unless the price is good and coupons match up, which didn't happen very often for me.

I'm just waiting to read they will be ending that program - seems they are feeling their way around a new concept of marketing.

Finesse, on the meat deal, since it is sold by the pound (not a fixed price per package), they're saying that if you buy a 2 lb package, it would be half price (one lb paid for, one pound free)

  • finesse187 Jan 19, 2011

Okay, the the deal on the meat is it the same as buy 1 get one free, or is it just a 1pd. free. I'm really confused by this one. Also has anyone else had problems with the digital coupons not working?
