Friday freebies & giveaway - New Year’s Eve Edition!

Posted December 31, 2010

Happy New Year to all my couponing friends! To send off 2010, let’s have one more giveaway for the year. How’s that sound?

The Giveaway

This week I am giving away 4 Groupon coupons to Electric Beanz Coffee Bar in the Garner/Fuquay area off Hwy 401 (Fayetteville Road). It’s in the Harris Teeter shopping center (Kings Grant shopping center) at the intersection of Ten Ten Road and Hwy 401. The address is 8109 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Each Groupon is for $6 worth of coffee, fruit juice smoothies, bagels, pastries and more. They expire on February 27, 2011. I’ll choose 2 winners and each winner will get 2 coupons so you and a friend can enjoy some free treats!

To enter, post a New Year’s resolution or financial goal for the upcoming year. I will choose the winner randomly (using random.org) on Tuesday, January 4th at 2:30 pm. Good luck!

Happy New Year to you Faye!

Resolutions - well, truly it's to continue to enjoy family and friends as much as possible, at this stage in my life I just want to revel in the love of family and the pleasure of being with friends.

Personal goal is to hit a consistent 70% savings on all grocery purchases, which includes the drug store items as well.

Last year I succeeded and exceeded my goal and came away with 67+% savings overall purchases for the year. This year I want to tighten it up even more.

And in those savings be able to spread the savings through giving to local shelters and those in need.

FINANCIAL FITNESS!!! I absolutely MUST refinance my mortgage & get a budget in place & stick to it! And get my couponing system caught up.

I plan to try and save more money by couponing, and making more of an effort to go to super doubles or triples. It seemed like this past year something always seemed to come up during the time of super doubles or triples.
