Frugal ways to celebrate the New Year - what are you doing?
Posted December 30, 2010
Will you be ringing in the new year with a bang to your budget? We are staying home this year with a bottle of $4.99 sparkling wine from Trader Joe's, sparkling apple cider for the kids, crab dip (on sale at Lowes Foods right now for $2.33 in the seafood dept), frozen pizzas (kid's choice), veggie tray, pound cake with strawberries (also on sale at Lowes Foods for $2.50), board games and Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest. Quiet, peaceful and frugal. Exactly what I need this year.
