This is a really good coupon. I am considering getting takeout and hubby and I can split the entree with a side I make here at home. Wonder if I can use it for takeout. I think we may find out!

WOW. Thank you for this Faye. We just got a gift card this weekend for Chili's. Wonder if we can use the gift card with this deal. We could really have a frugal meal for 5!

WARNING! I went to use this coupon tonight and they initially told me it was one free kid's meal per adult entree. I pointed out the very clear wording that said 2 free kid's meal per 1 adult entree and they honored the coupon. They did not realize that the wording on the coupon allowed for 2 kid's meals per entree. I hope nobody else has any issues. They were very nice but quite surprised about the wording on the coupon. And they did let me use it at the Chili's to Go take-out. Total cost for 3 meals $10. Hubby and I split the grilled chicken tacos and I made Steamfresh cheesy broccoli for all of us to share (on sale with coupon .50). Total cost for 4 to eat Chili's: $10.50.

Total, you shoudl be able to use the gift card with no problem. It is a form of currency and not a coupon so shouldn't be an issue.

That was a WINNER!! Our family of 5 ate for...(this indeed deserves a drum roll)....$3.66 YaY. Total bill was $43.68. Thank you Faye! and the giver of the gift card! Garner accepted it no questions. However, I think the waiter was a little upset that he would not get a good tip, and I'm not quit sure how that rule goes. But being the holidays and getting such a good deal...waiter was quit happy after all was said and done. We got a good meal for 5 with drinks,appetizer and laughs for $12.00. Oh yeah, and all the kids all have lunch for tomorrow too! Now that is a deal!

Total - you did well on the tip. The general rule is that you tip on the total before any coupons and gift cards. You tipped over 20% of the original total so you were a wonderful customer!

Paid $18.58 for last night's dinner and today's lunch (2 adult entrees and 4 kid's meals) at the curbside togo!

No - not on to go orders. Do you tip on takeout?

No I didn't, but I wasn't sure since the guy came out to the car (and made multiple trips - since he didn't know the coupon was good for 2 kid's meals per 1 adult entree). I know the coupon mix up was his mistake for not reading the fine print and he left one of my dinner boxes inside which he had to go back and get. Needless to say the kids did not need to wait for their food to cool off when we got home. I just wasn't sure because he immediately looked down at the receipt after I signed it and gave it back to him, so I thought I'd ask you since you've been blogging about tipping and about this deal. Thanks for the reassurance.
