Gift card bonus deals

If you are planning to buy gift cards for anyone on your gift list, make sure you check out these gift card bonuses. In some cases you get an additional gift card when you buy a certain amount of gift cards. In other cases, you get a % off your total purchase when you buy a specified amount of cards. The links to all the details for each store can be found in the coupon box to the left.

Make sure you read all the fine print, especially for the bonus gift cards. Many can only be redeemed for a short period of time. Some are only good starting in January.

Applebee's: $10 bonus gift card when you buy $50 in gift cards

Denny's: $5 bonus gift card when you buy $25 gift card

With group buying sites, you buy a coupon which is usually 50% off or more of the retail cost for a restaurant, hair salon, kids play space, etc. Then, when you use the coupon, you get the full value of the service or product, but you only paid half. There are sure to be a number of restaurant group buying deals between now and December 25th. These coupons make great gifts because they only cost you 50% of the coupon, but the recipient gets to use the full value. Food Lion: Save $5 on your next grocery visit by purchasing $50 in participating gift cards. Offer valid through 12/19/10. Coupon expires 2 weeks after date of gift card purchase. Kroger: Spend $100 on gift cards, save 40 cents per gallon on a fill up (which for my car is around $7 savings). Offer valid through December 11. (details were listed in the ad for 12/5 for Raleigh area stores)
