Hi everyone. I am new to couponing and still trying to get the hang of everything. Can someone please explain to me Harris Teeters e-vic policy. I know that I receive an email every Wednesday highlighting certain special savings that I can then load a coupon onto my card for. However, when I look on the Harris Teeter website, I often see other "e-vic savings" that were not part of the downloadable coupons included in my email. (for example, this week there is an evic savings for Crisco olive oil)Are these savings automatically discounted at the register or do I still need a coupon for these as well.

    Hi Megan,

Welcome to couponing! Isn't this fun???!!!

Most HT stores will not let you use 2 coupons when you buy BOGO items, per their policy. Many WILL let you buy one of a BOGO deal (which rings up at half price as you know) and use one coupon. Not all will allow that, but many will. Most couponers only get 1 of a BOGO in a transaction and use the 1 coupon, if the store allows it.

  • megan2424 Dec 10, 2010

    Hey Faye,
I see where it states that Harris Teeter only accepts one coupon for BOGO deals, yet they ring up half price. Do they accept a coupon if you only buy 1 of the buy one get one??? For instance the Krusteaz Muffin Mixes, they are BOGO and I had 2 coupons for .50/1. Is it best to only get one item then with the coupon? I just tried to buy 2 and use both coupons and they wouldn't accept both coupons. Should I have only gotten one?? I am a new couponer and LOVING the $$$$ I am saving!! :)

I never did receive the Micheal Angelos coupon or a response to my e-mail. Very odd. Too bad the coupon you received was not as indicated on their website, jzka.

NATayankee - the meat and cheese BOGO deal this week is a good deal but not as good as the Buy 2 Get 3 sale they run on it every few months. We always stock up then.

April - Yes - that is a good price for the ham. It is usually $3.19/lb at Lowes and $3.29/lb at HT. Usually anything $1.50 per lb or less is a good deal on it.

  • Trickat Dec 9, 2010

Received my Michael Angelo's e-mail today, signed up yesterday. I clicked on a B1G1 family sized coupon, but a B1G1 10-12oz printed. Anyone else have this happen?

  • NOTaYankee Dec 9, 2010

Can anyone remember if the HT Fresh Foods Market meats and cheese BOGO offer is the normal sale or is it the one that pops up every few months for buy 2 get 3 free?

  • aprilmiller Dec 9, 2010

Faye - is that a "good" price on the spiral cut ham at Lowes?? What's your favorite price point on ham?

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Dec 8, 2010

Thanks stephiec! That is exactly were to find the e-vic coupons.

  • stephiec Dec 8, 2010

If you go to the e-mail you probably got this morning with your e-vic specials and click on view all weekly specials. there should be a tab that says e-vic coupons. click on that and it should take you to them. Worked for me earlier today.

  • triplettk Dec 8, 2010

can someone remind me how to get to the Harris Teeter e-coupons? I got the intro email a while back, but for some reason thought they would be available on their site whenever I needed them. Now I can't find them.
