Monday meal plan 11-29

Updated: 2010-11-29 00:27:49

Bagels, rigatoni, enchiladas, soup and mushroom chicken on our menu this week. What's on yours?

Most of the items on the menu this week are items we already have in the fridge, freezer or dry goods overstock. Not much shopping needed except for fresh produce, milk and bread. Of course, I will still hit the loss leaders from the sales that come out on Wednesday.

Monday

Spinach, tofu and cheese enchiladas (yes, we had these last week, but the girls loved them and requested that we have them again this week. I love it when they ask for more spinach!)

Rice

Tangerines

Tuesday

Baked Rigatoni

Sugar snap peas

Wednesday

Bagels and cream cheese

Corn on the cob (from Food Lion Steamfresh sale last week)

Fruit salad

Thursday

Grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches

Organic Trader Joe’s creamy tomato soup

Friday

Not sure yet…….

Saturday

Going to a Chanukah party and bringing the infamous Broccoli-Ramen Noodle Slaw!

Sunday

Mushroom chicken in the crockpot (chicken breast $1.99/lb at Kroger through 12/4)

Potato latkes (pancakes)

Salad

That's funny, total! We opted to freeze some as well. I can only do turkey so many nights in a row!

Our menu plan this week. Monday-Turkey soup, Tuesday-Turkey sandwiches, Wednesday-Turkey surprise, Thursday-Turkey turkey turkey...lol reminds me of Bubba in Forest Gump, lets see how many ways we can make Turkey instead of shrimp. The smallest turkey I could find was 14lbs and there was only 4 people eating it. Think I am going to freeze some (alot)...lol
