It's almost time for Thanksgiving and this is the week to stock up on all your essentials. Turkeys are a very good price now at .39/lb at 2 stores and all the sides and condiments are on sale as well.
At some point today or tomorrow, I will post a turkey comparison so you can compare the different turkey prices and minimum required purchases to get that price, if any. It looks like .39/lb is going to be the lowest price we see this year. Both Food Lion and Kroger have them for that price this week with additional purchase requirements (which are detailed below). If you find them at a better or comparable price anywhere else, please post the details here!
Many of these sales last through November 25 and we may or may not see another ad from them on Friday.

This time it's Dr. Pepper 2ltr for $1, yet online it shows $4/$5. Last time there was such a discrepancy, I brought in a print out of my email and had to use that to get the price - manager could not understand why it happened.
I'll have to do that again this time - very strange that my email shows it, along with other items that do show up on sale in their ad. Strange, but I know they'll honor it, but I have to bring in the email printout to get the price.
