3-Day Food Lion sale - .39/lb turkey!

Posted November 14, 2010

Food Lion started a 3-day sale that lasts Sunday through Tuesday, 11/14 - 11/16. Check out the .39/lb turkey with purchase! Looks like most of the deals are the same as those in the weekly ad from Wednesday, but the turkey is a nice addition.

Turkey, frozen basted, grade A, 10 lbs and up .39/lb with additional $35 purchase excluding turkey.

Smithfield spiral sliced ham $1.99/lb

Thanks fireleigh and genie for the deals! 2 cent mashed potatoes - great deal!

Also if you eat idohoan instant potatoes there is a 40 cent coupon on off idohan potatoes and they are 42 cents for the original and 92 cents for the others at walmart so you can get instant potatoes for 2 cents a pack or 50 cents depending on which kind you get! Great deal if you need quick potato solutions at dinner time! I stocked up!

Happy - that's a pretty good price on the turkey - they were more expensive at my Walmart. I am still hoping that they will go down to below .50/lb with no additional purchase. I am waiting for the Wednesday Turkey deals before I make my turkey purchase.

Thanks to all for helping out J - yes you can freeze them and yes that is a good price (as everyone already shared). :-)

Kroger so far has been the best for turkeys. $0.39/lb with only a $25 purchase. They had a misprint in their Sunday ad. The ad shows $0.49 cents, but the back of one of the sections of the N&O showed $0.39. They apparently are honoring the $0.39. I went yesterday and got a 19.5 lb bird for $7.61. YUM!

That's a great price. I did see .68/lb turkeys at Super Walmart and no additional purchase necessary. I want to buy one more turkey. I bought one and a ham at HT over the weekend. I love to stock up on turkeys and cook them throughout the winter. Can't beat the price per pound, even at .68!
