Went to RiteAid yesterday to get my candy. Did the $25 deal with Kit Kats, Reese's and Hershey's plus 2 3 muskateers bars just because. Used the $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon, 5 $1/2 coupons, BOGO 3M coupon, and the $10 RA gift card I got from the KC deal last month and paid about $6.75 =) I love this time of year =)

If you're in the market for costumes for next year, I bought some at Target (Crossroads) for the advertised 30% off and then found them (same ones) @ 50% off at - with free shipping if you spend $50. Superman for boys size 4/6 was $17.50 at the store and $12.50 online. And that was Monday / Tuesday - might be a better discount now.

    I wonder who's going 75 and 90% first? I'm betting on old reliable Walgreen's.

    Great tips, J!

My local Walgreen's had costumes and decor at 50% off today.

and now's the time (post-halloween) to buy stocking stuffer candy as long as you don't require xmas-colored wrappers...if your q's and clearance candy match up. BUT you will need to hide it from yourself and other family members and forget about it. mark your google calendar to send you a reminder on dec 1 not to buy any and then again on dec 24 of where you hid it. ;) (could also be used for thanksgiving celebrations and xmas parties...again...assuming you get good deals)
