Harris Teeter Super Doubles 11/3

Posted October 27, 2010
Updated October 31, 2010

Looks like Harris Teeter will be Super Doubling coupons starting Wednesday, November 3! Time to get organized.

Coupon policy during Super Doubles

* HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM. (at least that is how it has worked in the past)

* HT will Super Double coupons worth up to $1.98 face value. A $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00. A $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00. A $2.00 coupon will not double at all and will only be taken at face value ($2.00).

* HT will super double/double up to 20 coupons per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. If you have 20 $1 coupons and 20 .75 coupons, only 20 total will double. They will not double 20 under $1 coupons and super double another 20 coupons that are over $1.

* HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first three.

Thanks to afullcup.com who has the proof of part of the ad verifying Super Doubles. Here are the deals from the ad that they have posted:

thank you t0tAlChAos for the info, I didn't know that is what they were called!!

At the HT's I shop with, all 5 of them take three identical MQ's in one transaction (with corresponding purchase of course) and on internet printables (IP coupons) they allow only two alike but have never limited the number of IP's total per transaction.

In other words, I could use 20 IP coupons as long as there are no more than two alike throughout.

Gucci, I just looked on HT's website and their coupon policy only says that they will only accept two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day. It doesn't limit a total number of internet coupons otherwise. I would go back to the store and hand them a copy of their own coupon policy. Me, personally, that is.

FYI: HT told me last night you can only use 6 internet coupons at a time.

thestella2 - Catalinas are the coupons that print out at the register when you are done checking out.

  • thestella2 Oct 29, 2010

What is Catalina's? don't mean to sound dumb but I was just wondering

I've seen links to it on savvydollar and afullcup both. My understanding is there may be more on sale, but this image is of the "short ad".

Heazer-where is this ad you speak of? On Harris Teeter's website?

  • heazer Oct 27, 2010

Catalina's will typically not double. It's part of the programming...coupons with a barcode that begin with "5" will double, and those that begin with "9" won't.

Most if not all Catalina's have a barcode that begin with a "9"....but wouldn't it be nice if they did!

I think it's easy to overlook when you see the ad, but in the same spot as the Barilla Sauce, is Barilla Pasta. The sauce is BOGO like everyone is posting, but the pasta is B2G3..it's just really tiny to see in the scanned ad!
