It's another great week of deals including FREE Heinz ketchup from Lowes Foods, $20 in coupons from Harris Teeter when you buy $20 in General Mills items, .99 cantaloupe from Food Lion and the Mega sale continues from Kroger! Where to start shopping first???

The grocery deals this week include free Heinz at Lowe’s Foods and the 3-week coupons from last week’s ad are still valid. Harris Teeter has a great General Mills promotion that will earn you $20 in coupons when you buy $20 worth and a fab Buy 2 Get 3 deal on Old Orchard juices which works beautifully with the .50/1 printable coupon (print it now before it is gone!). Food Lion has a good looking Kraft buy 5 get $5 off at register promo and .99 cantaloupe. Finally, Kroger is continuing the Mega Sale where you get $5 off at the register when you buy 10 participating items. Oh boy, there are a lot of good deals this week. Where to start???

Lowes Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 4 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price and you can still use a coupon on it! I love that policy!

Three-Week Coupons!: The 3-week coupons from last weeks paper are still valid through October 26! There are a number of good deals and remember, you can use manufacturer’s coupons with the store coupons to make the deals even better.

Betty Crocker potatoes, $1 each with store coupon - .50/2 from 9/12 and 10/2, $1/2 coupon from Better at Home booklet found a few weeks ago in stores (no longer available) = .50 each

Hamburger Helper on sale $1.00 each with store coupon - $1/3 printable coupon, .75/3 coupons from 9/12 and 10/3, $1/3 coupon from Better at Home Booklet

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. The policy states that you can only use ONE coupon on a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can only use one coupon total. If there is a Buy 2 Get 3 sale, you can only use coupons on the 2 you are buying (not on the other three free ones). With Buy 2 Get 3 sales, you must buy all 5 to get the sale price.

General Mills Promotion: Purchase $20 worth of participating General Mills products shown below using your VIC card and receive $20 in coupons good towards four future shopping trips for the following 4 weeks. Here are the coupons you will receive and when they are valid:
Week 1 (good from10/20-10/26): Save $3
Week 2 (good from 10/27-11/2): Save $4
Week 3 (good from 11/3-11/9): Save $5

Week 4 (good from 11/10-11/16): Save $8

The $20 of GM products must be purchased in a single transaction to get the 4 coupons. As long as your total before coupons and taxes is $20 , you should be able to use manufacturer’s coupons (even if your total goes below $20 with coupons) and still get back the $20 in coupons. I will be doing this deal on Wednesday evening but feel free to post if you verify before then.

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

FREE NC State Fair Admission on Thursday October 21 when you donate 4 cans of Food Lion Brand Product to support Hunger Relief Day! Regular Fair admission for adults 13 and over is $8.00 so this is a great deal.
Kraft PROMO: Save $5 instantly when you buy 5 participating Kraft products including Triscout, Wheat Thins, Kraft Mayo, Miracle Whip, Oreos, Jello 6 pack, Shake and Bake, Maxwell House, Oscar Mayer hot dogs, Crystal Light, Kraft sliced cheese and shredded cheese, Oscar Mayer carving board deli meat and deli fresh meat, Lunchables. This is a great time to couple the instant $5 savings with the $5/5 printable Kraft coupon I have posted about many times in the last few weeks. The link is in the box above.
Free Turkey Dinner Promo: Shop 6 of 8 weeks and spend $45 per visit from September 29 – November 23. Earn 6 different weekly Electronic Turkey Credits (week # shown on your cash register receipt). A reward message will print at the bottom of your cash register receipt that indicates when you have qualified for a $15 Coupon. There is an enrollment card on the front page of the ad this week. I don’t ever spend $45 at any one store so I never qualify for these types of deals. If you normally spend enough to qualify for this promo, than this is a nice little added bonus.
1-2-FREE Dinner Meal Promo: Buy the 3 items listed for a breakfast meal (juice, cereal , oatmeal), the 3 items listed for a lunch meal (soup, canned chicken and tortillas) and get a dinner meal free including pasta sauce, pasta and salad dressing (but no actual salad is included). You can use coupons on the lunch and breakfast name brand items to get the cost down, but it’s not a great money saver.

My local FL had a coupon for $1 off the Garden Delight varity, If that is included, it should be free or close to free. We also got a coupon for the Garden Variety in the 10/3 inserts.

Kick Off to Savings Promotion: Save $5 instantly when you buy 10 participating items using your shopper’s card! There are some great deals this week with this promotion, sales and coupons! Look for the special yellow tags on the shelves to identify participating items, since they don’t list all the items in the sales ad.

Basically with this promotion, each item is another 50 cents off with the $5 discount. You can use manufacturer’s coupons and those that are .50 or less will double. Here are the better deals from the flyer using participating products. Remember, you need to buy 10 participating items to get the $5 off.
