Reminder - Free coffee at Bruegger's today and new Perfect Pairs menu!

Posted October 13, 2010

Don't forget about the free coffee at Bruegger's today through 2 PM to celebrate 25 years in the Triangle.

They are also introducing their new Perfect Pairs menu today as well. What's really interesting is that the Raleigh market is the first one to roll out the new menu. I think that is pretty cool! The new menu clearly show that Bruegger's is much more than just bagels these days. Although, I still love a Bruegger's sesame bagel with their honey walnut cream cheese.....ahhhh.......

Here are the details:

You can pair a full sandwich with your choice of soup or salad. Depending on the sandwich, the price varies between $5.99 - $7.99. Sandwich choices include Turkey on a Bagel, BLT on a Bagel, Four Cheese Panini, Tarragon Chicken Salad, Turkey Chipotle Club, Primo Pesto Chicken Panini.

I will be receiving some coupons from Bruegger's in the next couple days to give away on the blog so some of you can try the new Perfect Pairs meals! Thanks Bruegger's!

Enjoy your free coffee today!

yeah..it's not as much the wait...as the loss of identity, i think, that bothers me. i get sentimental in weird ways sometimes. :)

These days, I usually expect some sort of wait at any restaurant so it really doesn't bother me. I just make sure I leave enough time so I don't feel rushed or stressed (on those very rare times when I do go out to lunch!).

ok, don't normally post negative stuff on here, but i just don't get bruegger's. diversifying to compete, ok, fine...but their menu is just too complicated now. anytime i go in i'm waiting on someone to get a salad (which takes several dishes and several minutes to make) and i have to answer the "do you want it toasted" question every time (no, i don't, by the way, or i would've asked) and now there's breakfast and square soft "bagels". ahhhhh!!! i worked in bruegger's back in the day (1994 maybe?), and the lines out the door at the franklin street bruegger's every saturday and sunday morning were NOT for these fancy, complicated items but rather for coffee, bagels, cream cheese, soup, and simple sandwiches. but that line moved...fast... i have not done the research, nor do i know if it's even public, but i wonder if their business is more or less profitable over the past few years from these changes. it definitely plays into my decision to drop by or not...knowing i can't just
