So sorry you are unemployed, teacher. I am sure you will learn a ton of helpful information you can use, even while you are not working. You have a good attitude about working towards becoming debt free and that is half the battle.

I am going to see him Saturday as well. I have his book, but haven't "gotten" around to reading it. My friend had told me about him about two years ago and she and her husband are now debt-free. Being unemployed right now, being debt-free seems to be so far out of reach, but at least I will have the information so that when I do get a job, I can turn things around. I have already been working on my credit cards and car and hopefully within the next year, I will be at least clear of those. It's not much, but it's something.

Thanks for your comments, ssgspoon and allyson! Dave has helped so many people live a debt free life.

I was first introduced to Dave Ramsey’s books in 2005 and think they are very valuable tools to manage and eliminate debt. The information he provides seems like the logical next step for any couponer who has debt. The information that you provide and the coupons that you make available help everyday people to do more with less. With the monies that couponing is saving, those same everyday people now have a little more wiggle room in their budget (I know that I do). Dave Ramsey can show you how to take that little bit that is now available and begin accelerating your debt repayment.

My husband and I are going on Saturday! I am so excited. We have been doing Dave Ramsey for almost a year now and in 2 months we will be able to say that we are DEBT FREE!!! I think his system and ideas are absolutely amazing. My husband and I feel very blessed to have learned about Dave Ramsey at such a young age! I would challenge anybody who is struggling with debt to take his course or read his books! It is amazing!
