Kroger grocery deals 10-3

Posted October 4, 2010

Kroger has a great promotion this week: Buy 10 participating items and get $5 off instantly! There are lots of fabulous deals so this is definitely a good week for shopping at Kroger if you have the right coupons. I usually post the Kroger deals in the Wednesday grocery post, but the promotion is such a good one I wanted you to get a head start. I hope to get there on Tuesday. If so, I'll check out the other unadvertised participating items and post any great buys. If you have any to share, please let us know!

Kroger Coupon Policy Basics

Doubles coupons up to .50

Many Kroger stores only allow 2 identical coupons per day (check with your store about their limits)

No total limits of coupons doubled per day

Kick Off to Savings Promotion: Save $5 instantly when you buy 10 participating items using your shopper’s card! There are some great deals this week with this promotion, sales and coupons! Look for the special yellow tags on the shelves to identify participating items, since they don’t list all the qualifying items in the sales ad.

Basically with this promotion, each item is another 50 cents off with the $5 discount. You can use manufacturer’s coupons and those that are .50 or less will double. Here are the better deals from the flyer using participating products. Remember, you need to buy 10 participating items to get the $5 off.

Nestle and Quaker links at the top have been exhausted and need to reset. :(

On the bright side, Boca burgers ARE included in the $5 off 10 items.

kpeele...I have used them at Lowes or HT before (can't remember which, sorry)...I just cut off the end with the Kroger logo so they wouldn't get fussy and they scanned just fine.

I'm going to be like total and ask a slightly off-topic question. Does Lowe's Foods accept manufacturer's coupons from Kroger (i.e. in a home mailer I received)? It labeled as a MQ but also has a small Kroger logo on it. Thanks!

I know what you mean - it was a very good week to shop Food Lion. I just looked over my receipt from earlier today and I thought my subtotal was $31 when I posted about it earlier. It was actually $47 before sales and coupons and I paid $7.28. That included 3 bags of baby peeled carrots, a green pepper, a head of lettuce, lots of Kraft cheese products, bunches of Ronzoni pasta and more!

Great job total - and thank you for posting about your savings!

I know this is Kroger...buuuuut. I just went to Food Lion to pick some last minute deals. Total before sales and coupons was $90.26. Paid $29.24. and got a $2.00 OYNO. Total items purchased was 35, so everything item I got, I paid less than a dollar for. How in the world did I do that and it's not even super ok Sorry, I'm just excited. Now I have to go put them up. =)

Thank you Faye, I owe it all to you!!!
