I'm getting better with each trip.......Today my total at Rite Aid was $35.94, but I actually only paid 47 cents (plus $1.08 tax = $1.55 total) AND I still have $7 in Up Rewards to use next time! (got 2 packs of diapers, lip gloss, blush, concealer, and eye shadow) Thanks Faye!!!!

has anyone else been trying to find the new tinkerbell movie at CVS. Been to about 5 area locations and no one has it. I even called Corporate and they had no real answers either. Has anyone found it?

  • j3434 Sep 22, 2010

nancy: and indeed that's what i did. i needed to keep everything straight in my head as well, so i made 3 trips total in and out (2 for gm's, 1 for everything else!). it was a small teeter, and i happened to end up going through the self-check each time. the manager was minding the self-checks, and he was very helpful each time and not at all bothered. i even asked if he was glad it was finally the last day of super doubles. he said he did not mind at all except that there were some restrictions on sizes on the gm deal that were printed really tiny in the sale paper and had stumped some people making it a little more difficult. the store seemed to have been restocked except for the bc potatoes, so i really lucked out and got some great groceries!

  • Nancy Sep 21, 2010

j3434 - yes, as long as you don't exceed your 20 coupon limit for doubling in one day, you can do it more than once in separate orders. But keep in mind some HT's are very fussy about two transactions back to back - some won't do them and some will do them if you are using a different e-vic account, some do them no matter what. All depends on the store. But if you walk outside, put your groceries in your car and go back it, you're all good again LOL

Scan the Febreze and Glade items you find on sale, signs in one CVS today said 50% off but when I scanned them they were 75% off! And the coupons I had I got two 10 oz soy Glade Fragrance collection FREE, they scanned $2 and I had (2) $2 coupons :)

  • j3434 Sep 21, 2010

i know it's the last day, but i can't help myself...was out of town and not really able to properly super-double for a long weekend...anyone know for sure if i can do the GM deal more than once a day as long as it's on separate orders? these kraft q's re-inspired me to double once more b/c i have some cheese-needing items on the menu this week!

GREAT job at CVS Anna! Thank you for sharing your totals!

My kids love the canned fruit too, J!

Thanks for the glade and febreeze deals, Nancy!

  • j3434 Sep 21, 2010

faye--yeah, we like the frozen veggies a lot too, but hubby and i have a bad habit of eating later than the kids...and opening a can for them is a heck of a lot better than no veggies at all! plus there's the del monte canned fruit...again, would rather use fresh, but always have canned rather than nothing. my kids eat WAY more nutritious than me most of the time. usually protein (maybe protein+bread), fruit, veggie, water, and they're happy as clams!

  • Nancy Sep 20, 2010

Also, have all your Glade and Febreeze coupons with you at CVS stores, many have candles and other products by these companies on clearance. I bought 3 Glade Fragrance Collection 4.9 oz soy candles for $1.75 each on clearance, but with coupons only paid $1.25 for all three!

WooHoo - just in time to stockpile aromatherapy items for winter months :)

CVS has Revlon Mascara on sale for $6.99 with $5 ECB back - already a good deal - but here's a bonus I wasn't expecting! Many of the Revlon mascaras that are on sale are complete with a bonus second mascara! And the limit is 6 per CVS card! Great time to roll those $5 ECB's and keep buying them, paying $1.99 for two (if you don't have any manufacturer coupons). There was a $1 off Revlon any color makeup - included mascara, in last months All You magazine.
