Me, my son, and my daughter love Mt Olive pickles. My kids love the individual baby dills. They wanted to take them to school for snack. We also enjoy the big dill pickles, the chips, the spears, the sandwich slices, and any other way they cut em. Anything Dill. We love them.

My 5 year old son loves to just eat them straight out of the jar!

I have to enter this contest for my 6 year-old son. He loves pickles so much I can't ever seem to have enought in the house. Yes, his favorite are Mt. Olive dills. He will eat an entire large dill and ask for more. We went to grandmas house one day and she had cut them up....I thought my son was going to cry. He told his grandma that pickles were not made to be cut up and he didn't like to share "his pickles" with anyone so would she please get him a new, unbroken one. To be honest, we have tried other pickles, mainly homemade, but they just don't taste as good and my son will not touch them. Thank you to Mr. Olive for making the gallon jars of dill pickles.

christopherj - I am sure it's the rare and valuable Ollie t-shirt everyone is hoping to win! :-)

Thanks for all your posts everyone - I'll have to let the Mt. Olive folks know how much the Triangle LOVES Mt. Olive!

My husband wants them with his lunch everyday. If I forget to add them to his plate, he acts like I forgot to make his lunch all together! I normally buy the huge jars at BJ's for like $3, as fast as we go through them I can't get them cheaper!

At our house we really only use Mt. Olive, hubby wont' let me buy any other brand. We eat them 2 ways - right outta the jar(there is one in the fridge door for easy access) and sweet relish or slices in salads -tuna, chicken, egg, potato, even regular garden salads !

We love Mt. Olive Sweet Relish in our cold tuna pasta salad. Then have Mt. Olive pickles as a side...

  • skkdouble Sep 11, 2010

We look dill pickles on our hamburgers. My daughter loves to suck the juice out of them and then eat them.

Don't know how it started, but I remember in high school packing my lunch and my favorite sandwich was tuna salad with sliced bread and butter pickles - to this day it's something I enjoy!
