Hard lesson learned about disclosing debt in a relationship

Posted September 10, 2010

Here's an interesting article about when to disclose how much debt you have when entering a new relationship. It's also the tale of what can happen if you wait too long.

Although I can't fathom racking up $170,000 to get a photography degree, I also can't imagine not knowing how much debt I really had. Whether you are in debt or not, this is a good read.  It's also  rather distrurbing to see how little these women are bothered by their debt burden. Click on the link in the box to read the article.

So this fool spent as much for a photography degree as another would spend for a medical degree.

I once dated a chick who had an art history degree from Wake Forest University, this girl was a real winner... I do not understand how someone could ever amass so much spending in a useless degree.

All in all, law school, med school and MBAs are worth it, photography and art history is a waste.

Well, that's sad for her on many levels however, I think the ex has some responsibility in that too. I feel he really should have wanted to sit with her and get the papers out together, a long time ago. I mean really, once you hit 100k, anothr 70k is just a drop in the bucket.

    Oh well...
