That is so funny Erin! Wasn't dinner good last night?! LOL

Thanks for reading the blog and I am glad your hubby understands why we do what we do to save money. When both spouses understand the benefits of living more frugally, it's easier on everyone (and the budget!). I hear from lots of folks who have a spouse that does not get it and for every dollar the frugal spouse saves, the non-frugal spouse spends two. Very frustrating for the spouses trying to live within their means.

My husband and I sat and went over our budget last night and also looked at your blog. He finally understands why I spend an hour each week looking at all of the coupon sites and grocery store ads.

I was reading your menu to him and he said..."Isn't that the same as what we are having on Monday and Friday?"

    Yesterday we had:
Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs (free chuck from Earth Fare, had my $2 coupon from Ballpark's facebook and bought Kroger's 2 for $3 last week)
Pasta salad (Ronzoni was on sale $10 for 10 last week and I had $1 coupons.)
Corn on the cob (on sale at HT for .25 each through 9/7)
Cantaloupe (on sale for .99 at Kroger)
Tortilla Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole (free salsa from Earth Fare with purchase of chips; Free Wholly Guacamole from HT's super doubles)
Brownies (marked down at HT a couple weeks ago and had my $75 off 2 which was doubled)

Thank you for all of your blogs, tips, tricks, and coupon advice! I also partook in the free pantry upgrade at Earth Fare on Sa
