Monday meal plan 9-6

Happy Labor Day to everyone! We are starting off this week's menu with a Labor Day cookout and ending the week's menu with a ....cookout!

Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs (all were on sale in last couple weeks)

Pasta salad

Corn on the cob (on sale at HT for .25 each through 9/7)

Cantaloupe (on sale for .99 each at Food Lion through 9/7 and BOGO at HT through 9/7)

Brownies with whipped cream (my dad is bringing the brownies and the Cool Whip was free from Food Lion about a month ago)

Tuna salad on a bed of lettuce

I am working late at the WRAL-FM Taste of Home event so the family is having sandwiches

Sweet potatoes

Rolls (Lowes Foods yeast rolls on sale BOGO for $1.30 through 9/7)

Sauteed pierogies and veggies (pierogies were .50 per box a few weeks ago with sale and coupon)

Black seedless grapes (.99/lb at Kroger through 9/11 and Lowes Foods for .97 through 9/7)

Grilled chicken breasts ($1.99/lb at Kroger through 9/11 and $1.97/lb through 9/7)

Grilled squash and zucchini

Whole grain rice
